The location was conveniently located next to bars and restaurants. The beach is very nice there. The view, pool and grounds were beautiful. The balcony was spacious and the interior was clean and updated.

The host was very responsive and helpful. Our questions were addressed immediately. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials and kept immaculate. It was beautifully decorated and had easy access to the amenities, beach and restaurants. The location was perfect to visit El Yunque, Luquillo Beach, and close to a main highway. We would recommend this place to anyone. We really enjoyed ourselves in Playa Azul.

Getting to the beach

The doors to the recreation area were closed off and that resulted in having to go all around the building, through the parking lot, and through two locked gates
one of the gates locks broke while we were there and it took a few days before it was fixed.Outside of that, the condo was well equipped and had a lovely view.

Great little apartment

This is a very nice little apartment with a great central location. There are all the little extras you could ever need here, there was even beach chairs, a cooler, and some boogie boards to use. The beach is absolutely beautiful right in front of the condo. It’s within a safe walking distance to luquillo downtown and there are plenty of good places to eat there. I would definitely stay here again.

My adult daughters stayed in the apartment. They said it was clean. They had everything they needed. Only issue was the elevator. It was broken on and off the entire stay. Had to climb six flights with beach gear several times. Would definitely stay there again if the elevator gets fixed.

The condo itself was absolutely lovely and well furnished. We had everything we needed to enjoy time on the beach and relaxation. The building however had its issues it appears to be quite old. Of the four elevators available for the twenty story building we usually only had one working at all times. There were never more than two elevators working all week. The grounds are quite secure and lovely. Unfortunately everything closes down extremely early for us. The pool was never available at night closing at seven each day and not opening until seven in the morning. Also the back gate leading to the beach is closed early. If you want an evening stroll on the beach you have to walk a very long distance all the way around a couple of properties until you can find a road with beach access. The area did have shopping and food available in walking distance and some of the establishments were very good. It was an easy driving distance to everywhere we wanted to see. I highly recommend Gai and her property. She is amazing with communication and suggestions on local attractions.

The apartment decor was modern, functional, & elegant. The view to the beach was beautiful & sunrise view was breathtaking! Over the years we have stayed in several other playa azul apartments and this was certainly one the best.

We Chose Wisely

My wife and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and choose to stay at this location. The building may be a little dated but encourage you to look past that. The unit was decorated nicely, clean, very comfortable (my wife went on about the bed). The area was safe (gated and well managed), modern amenities (HVAC, TV etc.). It was a little bit of a walk to the beach but was nice because it was through the property. Beach was great wasn't busy or crowded. We took several walks both directions. Great views and people were so friendly. We had an incident (no fault of anyone's) while we were there. The building had a water supply issue and we were without water for approximately 6 to 8 hours. We planned to explore (get out) so it really didn't impact us too badly. Gina, the host, was so gracious and she refunded a small portion of our money because of the inconvenience. We were so surprised, excited, blessed and blown away. What a host. She is such a caring and thoughtful host. Gina was so patient with us as we inquired about food, entertainment, activities - she was a wealth of knowledge. She was fantastic regarding communication (the best). We loved our time in Puerto Rico (look our for pot holes, chickens, cats however). The island was beautiful, food fantastic, people so friendly, and so many activities for you to do. We would definitely stay with Gina again when we go back (which we hope to do so soon)!

Wonderful place

Staying at Gia place was fantastic it is exactly as the pictures the view and place is so beautiful I had no issues gia was awesome , she even gave us a list of things and Restaurant's to visit . Cant wait to come back thank you

We by the Sea

We really like the location and the surrounding areas, close to stores, gasoline, main highways and above all the beautiful view of the beach. We would have liked to have instructions on the stove and the TV systems. Also it would have been nice to access local news, which try as we did we could not. A note to the renters, keep extra paper towels and garbage bags for trash and recycling. It will help your renters keep the place a lot cleaners. Overall, the apartment was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

The apartment was exactly like the pictures, very neat & clean. Awesome view of the beach and pool from the balcony. Gia , the host is very responsive and helpful. She provides almost everything you need for your stay. Felt like home! ❀ The location is convenient; not too close, but not too far from everything. Nice strip of restaurants nearby. Its near many great beaches/activities. Also , loved that the property had security at all times.
