Golf View Rio Mar Villa

Golf!! Charming Spanish coastal style villa located in an exclusive resort of Rio Mar with views of the 14th and 15th holes on the golf course. The patios has 4 French doors opening to capture the East ocean breeze. This villa has all new furniture and kitchen appliances with a spacious living area that Includes cable TV with basic channels and free WIFI in the villa and large pool. This villa is on the gorgeous 500-acre gated Resort with a pleasant walk to the beach and second pool.

Cluster 2 is a gated community within the Wyndam Rio Mar resort. The grounds are beautifully landscaped 500 acres. There is a pool with a patio a few yards from the villa for cluster 2 guests only.

If you are flying in to Puerto Rico (SJU airport) rent a car in advance, especially during high season.
Be a wise traveler and enjoy our villa. You can walk to the beach which is a little more longer than the length of the 15th hole on the golf course, about a 10 min walk and the pool is only a few yards away. Hiking around the property is about 3.1 miles and offers gorgeous views of vistas, beaches and beautiful homes. A rental car is recommended.

I loved the balcony view. Overall nice villa. I had no internet and television for 4 days and lost water pressure for almost a full day. Need a rental car if you stay here. Uber was a challenge especially after they close the gates. Its a 15 minute walk to the beach and 25 minutes to the nearest restaurant. Beach was great.

A perfect getaway! I had an amazing experience staying at this property. The property was as advised. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and every step smooth and stress-free. Beautiful property, with a very nice view of the golf course and large pond from the large rear balcony. The villa is beautifully furnished, comfortable, was fully stocked with all necessities and is located a short walk away from a really nice sized swimming pool and hot tub. The grounds and overall resort property is well maintained. I would recommend it for golf lovers, but a vehicle is absolutely needed to get around on the complex.

Spent 8 days in this lovely villa. Beach and pool were easily accessible, location was central enough that it was easy to get where you needed to go without too much trouble. Just what I was looking for in a relaxing no worry stay. Hubby and his brothers played the ocean course and had a great time. There were a few little things that werent stellar but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. One thing I would like to note, other reviewers of Rio Mar complained about the beach pool not being accessible, that is true but you still have access to the facility, tiki bar and the amenities while you are on the beach and we just used the cluster ii pool which was very nice.

The VRBO was located in a great location...close to on campus amenities likr golf, casino, beach, pool, restaurants, and spa. The residence was also next to the rainforest, with easy access. The city also had great food, shopping, etc. The people there were so nice. Overall, property was great for us, and will definitely come back

Great Christmas Golfing

Great location off 14th green and could walk to the private beach after playing 18 holes. Villa was as advertised, beautiful decorated and clean. Very responsive owners and community staff. Definitely would stay there again.

Nice but a couple concerns

The villa was very nice and the view over the golf course was peaceful and amazing. The host graciously allowed us to check in at 11am versus 4pm, as we arrived earlier than planned. She also agreed to waive the early check in fee; however, I was not made aware of a fee for this. I had two concerns. First, I received a text message from the host late one evening advising the villa was up for sale and the realtor had an interested party and would be arriving the following day at 11am. There was no mention in the listing the property was up for sale so this came as a complete surprise. I’d like to note I booked and paid for this in February, 2023 and the property has been listed for sale since August, 2023 and no notice was given to me. Also, the water went out on 2 days of our 3 day stay. Apparently this is a known issue as there is water under the sink in the kitchen for just such event. I completely understand things happen, but I would have expected for these items to be noted in the listing so I can make an informed decision if I want to deal with these things or look elsewhere. I learned a lot from this experience and I will ask questions before booking with others again.

Beautiful Villa

My wife and I stayed at Marcia and Dennis' villa in Cluster II at the Wyndham Rio Grande for a week and thoroughly. enjoyed ourselves. The grounds are beautiful, the villa has everything you need including cold A/C, plenty of hot water, washer/dryer, access to 2 pools (one at the beach), and a spectacular beach to enjoy with chairs provided. The island is so beautiful and this is a great area to base your exploration of El Yunque, San Juan, and East Coast towns of Puerto Rico. Thank you for opening up your place to us.

Fantastic Stay

The unit had a great view of the golf course and 2 ofthe ponds on tje course. The checkin and security was easy. We walked around the resort every night for 3 miles and felt totally safe, and the whole resort was beautiful. The beach was an easy walk as well (about 1/2 mile) i will stay here again

Great villa

We had a great stay. The beach club was perfect and pretty quiet. The beach itself is nice too. The villa has a spectacular view and has a well stocked kitchen. I might recommend a couple of folding or beach chairs for the beach as the first day they were not available until late afternoon. The host, Marcia, was gracious enough to extend our stay another night as our flight home was canceled. The neighborhood cats are sweet as well! I would highly recommend this villa to any couple looking for a peaceful vacation.
