Welcome to Dreamscape Studio, your charming getaway in the heart of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico! Dreamscape Studio combines comfort and convenience for an enjoyable stay in this lively city. Perfect for couples or solo travelers, Dreamscape Studio accommodates up to two guests, allowing you to immerse yourself in the magic of Old San Juan.
Enjoy the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer next to the kitchen, making it easy to pack light for your trip. The studio is fully air-conditioned to ensure your comfort.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The studio includes a cozy queen bed, ideal for a refreshing night's sleep after wandering through the vibrant streets of Old San Juan. You'll also find a full bathroom with a shower, stocked with hotel-sized amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to ensure you start your vacation off right.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Cook your favorite meals in the convenient kitchen, featuring a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and two-burner stove. This compact, fully equipped kitchen is great for longer stays. There's also a table for two nearby where you can enjoy meals together.
GETTING AROUND
If staying within the general San Juan/Metro area, we recommend moving around via Uber. **This property does not include parking.**
IMPORTANT: If you need to rent a car, there are various paid parking garages around Old San Juan - pricing varies as some charge by the hour and others have a flat rate.
LOCATION
Experiencing Old San Juan is truly special, with its unique charm and character. From Dreamscape Studio, you can easily walk to all the attractions in the area, as it's centrally located just steps from the vibrant action. We suggest taking a cab or Uber from the airport and using rideshare during your stay, as renting a car isn't needed unless you're planning a road trip. This area is very walkable, with everything you need within a short distance. Please note that the apartment does not have parking, but there are convenient parking lots nearby.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites, all within walking distance:
- Explore the El Morro Fort. There are daily tours of the fort and the large green areas have spectacular ocean views. Take a tour, have a picnic, and fly a kite. This is a must-do.
- Explore the iconic Calle San Sebastian nightlife. There is a large assortment of bars on this strip which is a favorite among locals on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
- Breakfast at âLa Mallorcaâ. This is a Puerto Rican landmark well known for its locally inspired breakfast and pastries.
- Savor Stuffed Avocado. Healthy and "trendy" spot where you can create your own avocado bowl.
- Take a stroll around âPaseo La Princesaâ, a waterfront walkway which you can start off at El Morro and finish of the walk with a rum tasting at Princesa Gastrobar at the end of the trail.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guestâs responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 2 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If youâd like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and weâll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and weâll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
