Adequate for a brief stay

We just needed an overnight spot, and this unit served the purpose. It's not far from the airport, and there are many local dining establishments for a quick bite. However, one of the mattresses really needed to be replaced, and the showers lacked hot water. The neighborhood can also be noisy at night.

Absolute Nightmare: Avoid This VRBO Listing at All Costs!

This VRBO rental was a complete disaster. Here's a breakdown: Uninhabitable Conditions: The place was teeming with roaches, a disgusting welcome. The kitchen faucet leaked, and a mountain of garbage sat outside our door, courtesy of inconsiderate neighbors (according to the manager). Health Hazards: The second bedroom was a danger zone. Mold bloomed on the walls, accompanied by a suffocating musty odor. Water pockets bulged beneath the wallpaper, a clear sign of moisture problems. To top it all off, the shower offered only scalding hot or freezing cold water - no comfortable option in between. Empty Promises: The property manager initially seemed apologetic, promising to take care of everything. The garbage did disappear, but that was the extent of their help. Communication, initially prompt, slowed to a crawl, and the other issues remained unresolved. Broken Commitments: We were offered a partial refund and a discount for the future – neither materialized. The listing was a complete misrepresentation of the property. VRBO's Response: After numerous phone calls, emails, and wasted hours, VRBO has yet to issue the credit they promised 5 days ago. Lessons Learned: Document Everything! Take pictures and videos of the problems you encounter. Be Prepared for a Fight: Getting a resolution might require persistence and a lot of communication. There are plenty of other great rental options out there – choose one of them!

Amazing stay in Ocean Park

We are a family of 4 and this place was perfect for us! Clean, beautiful, modern, well organized. The rooms were big- comfortable bed with soft sheets- the most comfortable sleep of my entire trip! The bathrooms are clean and beautiful, stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed, pots/pans/plates- plus coffee and a water filter (the little details help). The location was great, close to everything. I really enjoyed Ocean Park, great restaurants, bars and yoga studios- with the best beach in San Juan! The check in process was a little confusing as I didn’t understand that the pad lock had a combination on it, and I was trying to put the combo into the lock box hanging on the gate. But once I figured it out, it made sense and was easy and efficient. The hot water got very hot and it was hard to find a happy medium between hot and cold in the shower
 but that was a very minor detail. Overall it was brilliant! The price was right! I really loved the design, they have done a wonderful job with this place. I would have loved to stay longer than 2 days, and will definitely be back!

Great location.

This was a nice and quaint property located right next to Calle Loiza. This is a fantastic location that is walking distance to the beach along with many restaurants and bars along the Loiza strip. It's also a short uber ride away from La Placita and the Ashford Ave strip. This place had a nice outdoor space to lounge. My one issue was that while there are two separate bathrooms and bedrooms, there was absolutely no closet or draw space. There is definitely space to put some type of storage. This made it difficult to unpack clothes and we ended up having to hang everything on chairs which can be hard to stay organized. Some other small things were that the outside light did not work and the beach chairs available are large and do not close which can make it hard to walk to the beach with. Other than that, this was a great space is an awesome location. If you rent a car, just be careful because the street is very narrow.
