Hey! It's inching toward holiday time! Come relax at this quiet Casita and enjoy our little town. There is not much traffic on the highway nor on Paseo del Sol, the first entrance to EDR as you are heading into San Felipe you will find my Casita. There is no noise, only serenity and quiet, only desert solitude.

Casa de Katalina offers a view of the Sea of Cortez to the east and the Sierra de San Pedro Martir Mountains to the west. It is a short drive, only 2 miles, to the private beach on the Ranch and 4 miles to the La Canchilla Pool at the Saltito Rd. The pool offers Water Aerobics, Water Volleyball and always, free style swimming. It's a great pool with a 20 person hottub.

Casita offers a kitchenette, stove and a full-size refrigerator. If you prefer to eat at home, the pescaderias in town sell excellent fresh seafood for you to create your own favorite dishes. If you prefer eating out, we have lovely places to eat on the Malecon and closeby the Casita also, From fancy to street tacos, you can find it in San Felipe, the home of the 1st Fish Taco!

If you feel like dancing, we have live music at the three great bars near the Casita that are less than 2 miles away, All three offer great food and are about 5 minutes from the Casita. Downtown on the Malecon offers many restaurants and bars for day and night time enjoyment. The Malecon offers a lovely beach to bask in the sunshine and plenty of wonderful Mexican souvenir shops to remember your visit.

Minimum booking is 2 nights, maximum booking 7 nights unless previously approved by Owner. Casa de Katalina is a great place for a couple or a SAFE haven for a single individual to stay and get away from the hustle bustle of Mexicali, Ensenada, Yuma or San Diego or anywhere else for that matter!

Let us accommodate your stay to San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico. LA CASITA sleeps maximum 2 people. Sunrises are incredible creeping up over the horizon of the Sea of Cortez. The magnificent sunsets to the west over the mountains is memorable. When it's time for a Full Moon you will be in for a treat as it comes up over the Sea. And, if you book during the night of the Full Moon, El Dorado Ranch offers bocce on the beach to visitors (and that would be you) with FREE Mexican Hotdogs. And trust me, Señor Nacho makes the best hotdogs in town! It's a FUN event and a fantastic place to watch the moon rise in all its glory over the Sea of Cortez and a chance to meet folks from the EDR community, a thriving Ex-Pat Community.
