SituĂ© au cƓur d'un des plus cĂ©lĂšbre plage de communautĂ©s de San Diego et Ă  distance de marche de l'ocĂ©an et au coeur de la communautĂ© Ocean Beach, notre place offre tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin de se reposer, se ressourcer et avoir du plaisir Ă  San Diego!

Non seulement nous sommes juste en bas de la rue des boutiques, des restaurants et de divertissement, mais nous sommes à quelques minutes des plus belles plages de San Diego, y compris Pacific Beach, La Jolla et Del Mar. Sea World est juste autour du coin, Balboa Park est juste un saut, sauter et un saut de distance, et le quartier de Gaslamp est d'environ 10 minutes en bas de l'Interstate 5. Disons simplement que nous sommes environ 10 minutes à partir de presque n'importe quel endroit que vous pouvez visiter dans notre belle ville, ainsi que l'aéroport international de San Diego!

Cette petite ville de bord de mer est un favori parmi les habitants qui passent leurs journĂ©es Ă  surfer, un bain de soleil autour de la jetĂ©e, sortir et se promener Ă  travers les nombreux magasins de surf, taco stands et les centres anciens. Ocean Beach offre le terrain parfait jet-back ambiance groovy vintage SoCal, couplĂ© avec ses habitants chaleureux, grande salle Ă  manger, et une scĂšne de la vie nocturne animĂ©e.

Niché entre la riviÚre de San Diego et les collines de Point Loma, Ocean Beach est parfait pour les surfeurs de profiter des vagues créées par des jetées. La plage est super sympa pour les nageurs et les baigneurs de soleil!

Se déplacer

Une voiture de location est fortement recommandé! Sinon, Uber, Lyft et les taxis sont les meilleurs paris, mais les transports publics médiocres SoCal est également disponible. ;)

The apartment smelt a bit like smoke and there were a few ants in the bedroom against the wall facing outside next to the planters (probably attracted to the moisture there, and we didn’t have any bites from them), but the place was cute, great location, and it was nice having a full kitchen. The host is very responsive and polite.

Place was great for what we needed. Close enough to beach to walk to, grocery store and friendly restaurants around the corner also within walking distance. Bed was comfy and clean. Plenty of pillows. It beat renting a hotel for sure since I enjoy being able to cook my own food. There was a hose around the back to use to clean off sand from the beach which was also a plus. The only things I didn't like was the apple TV device as I think it'd be better if their was a Roku or Fire TV since there are more app options with these and most of the things I already pay for at home were not available via the AppleTV. 2 lamps by the bed also were not plugged in as there wasnt a close enough outlet so I'd recommend bringing your own extension cord for things like plugging those in or your phone to rest in the bedside table. Luckily I had my own PC with me to play D&D with my group on the Saturday I was there and I was able to use it it with the TV instead but since that PC didn't have a wifi card I had to use my phone for Internet connection. That allowed us to be able to watch things we actually wanted to in the living room while playing board games as a family.

The property was easy to find; check-in was a breeze; and the parking space behind the building was a bonus as O.B. fills up quickly with beach traffic! I had minimal contact with Drew, but when I did reach out via Vrbo, he promptly responded!I also liked that there were plenty of towels!Cons - the property looked a little worse-for-wear when compared to online photos.The neighbors across the way bickered loudly, and with their door open, nearly every night. I used to live in O.B. and I'd say that this bungalow gives the full O.B. experience. All in all, it was a place to sleep, far enough from the noise of Newport, but a close enough walk to the beach. Thanks guys!

Property was very nice and within walking distance of beach and downtown OB.Was in the 80’s and we were thankful for the multiple fans cuz it got very warmIn the rental.Will definitely consider staying here again and would recom to others. Owner was great to communicate with .

We spent a week at OB staying at the bungalow, here are our impressions and feedback:Positives:- location: walking distance to shops, good restaurants and beach. Very central to most of typical SD attractions if you have to drive places.- Cute neighborhood, feels safe to stay here. - Designated free parking spot.- Comfy bed and comfy pull out sofa.Needs improvement: - delivery on promises from the host: registered 2 grown ups and 1 teen, bedding was available for only 2 people upon check in. Was told that the cleaners will drop off extra bedding asap, and never heard back again. Not sure what happened, but no one stopped by. We made it work with the available bedding, but this is not ideal.- Replace bath towels (old and with bleach stains) - Replace frying pans (food sticks on)- Larger shower curtain is needed- it’s short for the current tub - Lawn furniture would be nice Negatives:- No AC - yes, I know that AC isn’t listed as an amenity, but it is very much needed - bungalow heats up very quickly and it took couple hrs to cool it down from 89F to 76F. Very dirty fans available to move the air. Absolutely don’t recommend using oven to cook because of that. - Bare minimum of plates and cups. - Noise (neighbors were arguing all nights into early morning ,airplanes, cars) since you be sleeping with the windows open due to no AC.- Only 2 chairs in the kitchen at the table- if you market this unit for up to 4 people, make sure 4 people can sit down and eat.

Very very nice

This place was lovely, clean comfortable, and OB is a really charming location, this unit is easy walk to the beach and with plenty of great food options in the area, also easily walkable.Truly, once you park your vehicle, you really won’t need to get in it again until you leave.We can warmly recommend.The owner was very accessible and very accommodating when any issues arose.

Ocean Beach Retreat

The accommodations where clean and inviting. Host communicates well. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Only suggestion would be a space heater and area rugs for the bedroom during the winter months as it was definitely colder than normal for San Diego. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pricy for basic digs. Living room furniture needs big upgrade. Couldn’t get Netflix to work. I get retro but Folgers coffee in place that is 250 per night and no sugar? Parking great. Cute neighborhood. Comfortable bed.

Perfect and Safe Location

Lovely, bungalow and fantastic location!

We absolutely loved our stay in this bungalow. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Our daughter slept great on the pullout couch and there was plenty of space for all of us. The location is exceptional. The main street had many fantastic, unique shops, and restaurants. And it is just minutes to a beautiful beach. We will definitely be back!

Great home away from home

We took a short trip to san diego for our birthday and we really enjoyed the location of this place. The only downside is it is close tk the airport and you can hear the planes, but nothing some ear plugs or unisom wont fix haha

OB Weekend!

Fantastic place! Great location in walking distance to everything you need. Easy and prompt communication with owner/manager, place itself was comfortable, cozy and clean. Will definitely stay again next time in town.

Cute bungalow

Very cute beach bungalow. 10 minute walk to beach. Five minute walk to eateries. Very close to lots of places such as Old Town and SDSU. Sunset cliffs were gorgeous. Lots of amenities in the place. Extra sheets and towels. Coffee maker was appreciated. Only suggestion is to bring earplugs as walls are thin and we did hear guests in adjacent unit. Owners were very responsive to questions.

Great location, cute place. No complaints. It was hot, but I guess there was abnormally hot weather when we were there. Opened the windows and turned on the fans and it cooled off pretty quick.

Review of Ocean Beach cottage

The property could have been cleaner overall. There were no sheets for the pull out couch. We needed to use the fans, but not all of them worked and they were very dirty. I needed to dust and clean them before using them. The location was great and near to where family were staying.

Clean on the inside, dilapidated on the outside, neighborhood felt unsafe.

I did not stay any nights at this property. I spent approximately 2 hours in the property. I paid for 5 nights in advance based on the description of the property. I ended up paying to stay at a hotel (additional $1500.00). It was my first visit to San DIego. The outside of the property appeared neglected and run down, as were the neighboring houses. The storm door was completely rusted over. There were multiple units facing each other (not facing the road). Upon entering the residence, it was very hot. The temperature reading on the thermostat was 94 degrees. The inside of the property was clean and as presented in the pictures, except much darker. I opened the windows and turned on a couple of fans. It remained very hot. I did not feel comfortable leaving the windows open through the night as they were all low and easily accessible by anyone. I did not feel safe. I did not feel comfortable. I notified the owner of the property and explained my situation. He did not respond for several hours but offered no remedies or solutions. I responded to the owner with greater explanation. He never responded. I have stayed at many VRBO properties over the past ten years. This was my worst experience with a property and the owner.
