Enjoy the calm bay waters or walk across the main road to the ocean for some boogie boarding. Cruise the boardwalk for great people watching, or take the family over to iconic Belmont Park. Be sure to check out the local eateries on your way!

Walk a few blocks to iconic Belmont Park to ride the historic roller coaster, make a splash at The Plunge swimming pool, or grab a bite at one of the many beachfront eateries.

This cute and cozy 1 bedroom is close to the bay and across the street from the beach! Note the unit is located above the garage and requires walking up a set of stairs to the front door. Inside is a small living room, kitchen and small eating area. There is one bedroom with a comfy king bed and a couch in the living area that folds down into a sofa sleeper. There is 3/4 bath with a shower. This unit does not include any outdoor living space.

This charming 1920s Mission Beach cottage is one of the original 3 homes built in this area of Mission Beach—and just 25 yards to the calm bay and 1.5 blocks to the ocean surf. It’s your ideal laid-back escape for beach days, surfing, bike rides, paddle boarding, sunbathing and boardwalk strolls. This is one of 3-units on the property and is located up one flight of stairs above the garage.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need in a cozy, beachy footprint:

-A small living room and kitchen designed for simple, comfortable beach living

-One bedroom with comfy king-size bed and a pull out sofa in the living room.

-A closet with desk that can be used as a work station.


Note: This unit does require walking up one flight of stairs to access.

Step outside and the best of Mission Beach awaits:

-25 yards to the bay – calm, family-friendly, perfect for morning coffee or paddle boarding

-1.5 blocks to the ocean waves – great for surfing, boogie boarding, or sunset walks

However, it's common for cars to stick out of the garage about 12-18", leaving the garage door open (so it acts more like a carport). Most mid-sized SUVs should fit but please verify your car measurements to be sure. There is also free street parking and a few free parking lots nearby.

We have one single car garage spot for this unit. It's on the right when facing the home. Most mid-sized SUVs and smaller should fit but please verify your car measurements to be sure. Our garage door opening is 94" wide and 180" deep. However, it's common for cars to stick out of the garage about 12-18", leaving the garage door open (so it acts more like a carport). Please plan accordingly.

Please be courteous to neighbors and do not park in alleys, in front of neighbors’ homes, or in red zones (even just for 2 minutes!) — you will be subject to fines and towing by the city.

For alternative parking:

Mission Boulevard has street parking available (please double-check signage for street sweeping days).

You can also find free overnight parking just a few blocks away on El Carmel Street, especially near the Rowing Club area.

Shared laundry is located on the side of the house. You’re welcome to use it during your stay, just be courteous of others who may also want to access it.

Les points forts : Propreté
Cute little place for two people. We took our teenage son so we had 3. Was a little crammed but overall great place to stay. The place was very clean. Great location, close to the bayside. We had a little snafu getting in the place but the owners immediately fixed the issue, which was not their fault anyway. They checked in with us and were very responsive. Very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.
