La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée pour la cuisine, et propose également un parking gratuit, une connexion Wi-Fi, et Apple TV.

Alors que certains peuvent comparer Mission Beach de San Diego à Atlantic City de la cÎte Est et Coney Island, il y a une ambiance unique de la Californie du Sud vous ne pouvez pas trouver ailleurs ici. Niché entre la plage du Pacifique sur le cÎté nord, et Belmont Park sur le cÎté sud, Mission Beach offre une variété dynamique et robuste des activités dans le soleil, le surf et le sable. We recently stayed here and while the location was excellent—steps from the beach and close to restaurants—the overall experience was difficult and disappointing.The main issue was the lack of air conditioning during a heat wave (90 degrees). The “solution” offered was a few fans, which did help when the sun went down. I have health conditions, including upcoming sinus surgery and breathing issues, and sleeping in that heat was nearly impossible. Out of desperation, I had to drag the bed into the living room to sleep next to the sliding door, which didn’t even lock securely. For someone with PTSD from years in law enforcement and traumatic experiences with home break ins, being forced to sleep with an open door was extremely stressful. I averaged maybe 3 hours of sleep a night.It was my wife’s and I first vacation as a married couple. We don’t have much money so it’s not like we could just get a hotel room. As mentioned, the location is beautiful but it was not cool in the apartment until the later evening. I don’t want to come across as just hammering the host, because the space itself was a nice little spot in a fantastic location. But the uncomfortable conditions really overshadowed what could have been a great stay. For future guests, I think it’s important to be clear that this rental does not have adequate cooling which needs to be directly presented in the details.

Perfect little spot in the heart of Mission Beach

We absolutely love this place! Be sure to read this description, it is small and it is in a fairly busy area with a nightlife in Mission Beach. We had no trouble with noise though. It’s easy access to the bay and the beach and lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Owners were extremely responsive and very easy to work with as well. In our opinion, there’s no downside to this stay location.

Poor representation of property

Location was very noisy as it was on the main street. The accommodation was advertised as sleeping 4 adults. One queen size bed up against the wall with a framed sign on the wall telling occupants to "please do not attempt to use, sleeper sofa is inoperable". Couch slanted toward floor, so you rolled off during the night. No drawers anywhere to store clothing, and no hangers in the small closet. The furniture was pictured as white and was all grey (unimportant, but not accurate). 3 towels for 3 people for a 6 night stay. My point, for the most part, is that it should be advertised as a cute, small accommodation for a couple. We made the best of it.

Small gem

My two night stay was enhanced by the location, location, location of this condo. Small: yes — but the cute front patio was my go-to relaxing place. Watching this beach community tick was huge fun. Landlord is super nice, easy to communicate with. And I was grateful that a 2-night stay was fine (many places have 3-Day minimums in the summer). Give this a try!!

We had a great time in the Mission Beach area.

This property is very central to everything in Mission Beach. We had access to great restaurants and pubs as well as bicycle rentals. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. The kitchenette had everything we needed for breakfast meals. The owners were responsive when we called to ask to park earlier than our arrival time (parking is very limited in this area). The only shortcoming was that we weren't really able to enjoy the 2nd story deck as water from recent rains was ponded up on the surface. Also, this deck space is not super private as it butts up to the neighboring property. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great Location

This was my first time travelling to California, and I had a great time staying in Mission Beach. The apartment is only a block from the boardwalk and there are tons of great food spots nearby. The room can get pretty hot during the day, but the sea breeze helps at night. The owners were very helpful and informative, so getting settled in was quick and easy. I would recommend this location for those who want to stay close to Belmont Park and the beach.
