À distance de marche des restaurants, vie nocturne et bien plus encore ... Ă  seulement cinq minutes du centre-ville de San Diego.

Notre endroit a une toute nouvelle unité AC qui rend notre maison froide, il y a un garage pour une voiture et un patio extérieur avec une table pouvant accueillir cinq personnes. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse à l'intérieur de l'unité.

Hosts are great with communications and the Hideaway was perfect for our needs. Nearby within a short walk are The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and the Hillcrest neighborhood for shopping and restaurants. The bed was most comfortable and other amenities were as described, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would book again.

Just terrific! It was quiet and clean, bed was comfy. I felt very safe. Great hosts. We walked back and forth to the park to the museums, found a nearby hiking area enjoyed wonderful restaurants, saw outdoor Shakespeare, had a picnic. A wonderful trip all around.

The property was very nice and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Checking in and out were fast and easy.The extra complimentary snacks and drinks were a nice added touch.

Our stay was great. Host was very responsive if we had any questions. We appreciated the extra snacks and waters as our kids are always hungry. The washer and dryer are located in the garage which makes parking an SUV inside impossible. However there was street parking right outside. Overall it was a great location for what we needed.

Great location and communication

We were able to walk to park and restaurants while the highways were close by as well. The small patio in the back was good. The owner checked in to see if everything was ok and there were snacks and drinks.

Arrived an hour early after driving 10 hours. Contacted the manager and he let us in early. He was on site a few times and was very nice. Could not ask did anything more. Great gist and property.

Centrally located, quiet and clean residence

Perfect for a couple, this clean and comfortable Hillcrest one bedroom suite was as advertised. The hosts were excellent to communicate with, and the check in process was seamless. The snacks and drinks were a bonus, and there was plenty of room in the suite for us. Would recommend this property for a couple and I would definitely return the next time I’m in San Diego.

Location is wonderful! The house needs a to be updated a bit. There is an annoying, constant squeaky sound from the unit above the couch that needs to be addressed. I don’t like that we have to pay a cleaning fee and yet strip the bed, take out the trash and do the dishes. Either lower the fee or include the after stay in the fee. The place is too small to warrant both.

Delightful condo

This was our 2nd stay at the Hideaway and once again we found the cozy condo to be exceptionally clean and comfortable. The little touches of complimentary coffee and snacks are so appreciated and Efrain is a wonderful host who went out of his way to help me retrieve an item left behind. Thank you and we will be back.

Great place and neighborhood

Stayed here for a couple of days to visit the SD Zoo. The zoo was an easy walking distance both too and from after a long day at the zoo. Communication was prompt and clear with the owners. Property was clean and had an abundance of amenities and extras. If i travel to SD again, I would stay here again.

Location, Location, Location and a really nice place

We spent the past two weeks in this apartment and had a wonderful time visiting tourist attractions and going out of the city area to the beaches, and parks. The zoo was less than 1/2 mile walking from our door to their gates. Driving times to anywhere in the city area to the border, Zoo Safari and the beaches was 15-25 minutes max. Entrances to the highway system were close by. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and charming with lots of craftsman houses. I found a walking trail cutting through the community in a small canyon. Vey cool. The apartment itself had everything we needed to cook and eat all our meals, full size fridge with ice and water dispenser, full stove/oven, coffee pot and toaster. the bed was very comfortable and the hot water was plentiful. We loved the full size washer/dryer in the garage. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and everything is maintained well. The owners left us a selectin of K-cups, snacks and bottled water gratis. Response from the owner on a small issue was impressive , polite and welcoming. For those who love BIG TVs - the TV in the living room will exceed your expectations. You can stream any service on it. We just signed into our regular services. No local TV or Cable access. Wi-Fi was speedy during the day and the evening. Our only issue was the fact that one of us is 5'2" tall and and the shower head and table-top seating were just a bit high for comfort. I am 5'4" and I was fine. Highly recommend

Cozy spot near Balboa Park.

The house is a great value for the area, with easy access to Balboa Park and the surrounding areas. The guidebook provided by the host was helpful, along with the snacks and coffee. One criticism is that the power seemed to fluctuate when running multiple appliances causing the TV and lights to dim. The bedroom shares a wall with the neighboring unit and the sound transmits pretty easily from the other unit, so ear plugs are recommended. I brought this up to the host and they were quick to let our neighbors know to keep it down at night. Water pressure was great, having access to a patio was a nice convenience as well. Overall this was the perfect spot for us and our two dogs.
