Welcome to your very own tropical oasis beach house (no shared walls!) located just 1 mile to Tourmaline surf/swim beach in North Pacific Beach! This newly remodeled & convenient single level retreat features 2bd + 2ba & indoor/outdoor living at its finest with a front yard + expansive fully fenced rear yard with an unheated pool, BBQ, lounge & dining seating & panoramic City, Sea World & Ocean VIEWS! Other highlights: A/C, w/d, 4 parking, beach gear, 2 dogs ok (unfortunately no cats) & sleeps 7 (5 adults max).

INTERIOR
A small set of stairs leads you through lush tropical landscaping to your main front entry door. You'll be wow'd by how bright & sunny this South-facing house is during the day, with a wall lined with windows & sliding glass doors facing the backyard. The living room includes an oversized sofa sectional, Samsung smart tv mounted above a cozy gas fireplace & accent seating. Adjacent is a set of sliding glass doors leading to your very own outdoor backyard oasis (see EXTERIOR below).

Dining with a view! Further down is a dining nook for 6 with panoramic city views. The dining area is open to a fully equipped gourmet chef's kitchen with modern quartz counters, modern white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances & breakfast bar for 3.

Down the hallway are 2 bedrooms & 2 baths, featuring your gorgeous primary suite. From the comfort of your own bed enjoy a cup of coffee to sunrises & pool views, or fall asleep to Sea World Firework & panoramic City Light views. See BED + BATH ARRANGEMENTS below for further detail

An entertainer's delight, the fully enclosed backyard is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy morning coffee poolside, daytime sun soaking on sun loungers then cool off your very own expansive pool (*pool is serviced weekly & is not heated), or evening BBQ & glass of wine. The front yard includes a separate front grassy lawn area with additional seating.

“Where the locals hang!” Our home is located in a beautiful family friendly area of North Pacific Beach. Just 1 mile to a swim/surf-friendly ocean, white sandy beaches, and killer local eateries with everything from breakfast to dessert & after-hours cocktails!

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment along Cass St & Turquoise St. Some of our favorite eateries include Java Earth Café (coffee & pastries!), including Oscar's Mexican Seafood, Leilani's Hawaiian cuisine, Fig Tree Café (brunch!), The Fishery fine dining, Bareback Burger (grass fed meat!) & Second Nature bar/organic eatery to name a few. Also just a few blocks to Gelson's grocery market.

Within walking distance of a Yoga Studio & Beach Yoga at Law St park, Enjoy kayaking or stand up paddle boarding, jogging/walking/biking up and down the Boardwalk that starts just a couple blocks from our house! Rent beach gear at Mission Beach Aquatic center, including sail boats, paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, and much more.

A quick Uber ride or bike ride will get you to Garnet Ave & further along to Mission Beach, featuring more bars and entertainment + Belmont Park's big dipper coaster and all new Plunge pool. Other attractions include ~5min drive to Sea World, over the hill is ~15min drive to the famous San Diego Zoo, and just ~20min drive to Downtown & the Airport. Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30.
‱ Occupancy
Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
‱ Noise
Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.

The hosts were great. They provided plenty of supplies (tp, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, etc.), as well as plenty of kitchen ware. Great location and neighborhood. Someone came and took out the garbage while we were there and cleaned the pool as well. Most places I have stayed you have to take out your own garbage cans, strip your sheets, put all the towels in a certain spot... They did it all! all we had to do is pack up our stuff and leave! It was clean and beautiful. We did ask to check out late (it’s at 10 a.m. and check in is at 4 p.m.) and they said no, so that was a bummer, but I would definitely stay here again!!!

Well equipped kitchen, it has everything you could possibly need. Main bedroom bed was so cozy! Soft cushy bedding and comfortable mattress. Large main closet. Basically a well equipped house and clean pool in a convenient location and nice neighborhood.

Beautiful home! Everything was clean, beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked. They even had beach chairs and boogie boards available in the garage! Pool was lovely, however, it was cloudy the week we stayed and the pool is not heated, so was too cold for us to enjoy for longer than 10 minutes. This was clearly marked in description so can't complain. Location was great. Super close to Seaworld and Pacific Beach restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend!

Easy to check in with the codes. House was clean and nicely stocked with kitchen supplies. Clean and comfortable beds. Pool was delightful and felt nice despite being unheated (stayed in August). Kids got a lot of use from the surf and boogie boards in the garage. Great stay in a great location!

Darling House

This house is a treasure! The updates are exceptional along with the well supplied kitchen. The reviews are all true. Great location with a beautiful view. Nice to have privacy of parking in the garage. Very quiet neighborhood. Walked every day with no concern for safety. We would love to return to this property. There was a giant spider web in the bunk room. When stay take a minute to check the corners of the rooms. Absolutely did not affect our time there.

Great little house in a wonderful location

We stayed for two weeks and loved the location of this home. It has a wonderful view from the backyard!! We loved walking through Birdrock and enjoying the shops and restaurants. The home is comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful stay with a pool centrally located!

This was a trip for my daughter. 7 of us came and we had a ton of fun. We were close to La Jolla, Coronado, Old town, Seaport Village, and Sunset Cliffs. Far walk to Belmont park but about 3 miles to drive. Issues with AC when we arrived but they sent a tech over to fix it for us.

Trip to move student into dorm at UCSD

The house was perfect for what we needed with mom, grandma, granddaughter (moving her in at UCSD) and her 3.5 year old brother. We loved the location, the house was perfect and set up well for people with a young one. The pool was great. It was very clean and well taken care of.

Lovely location, modern and clean home

We really enjoyed our week in this house. The view from the back deck was great, the pool was nice, and the house was very well stocked with extra paper products, trash bags etc. Upon check out, they told us to have a safe trip and leave the rest to them. Many places we’ve rented before we’ve been instructed to wash towels, strip the beds etc! This was relaxing and worry free.

Wonderful home

We loved our stay at this home. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. There are beaches and cute restaurants around the area but my kids wouldn’t leave the pool. The kitchen is nicely stocked with basics and there is a gas grill. I would’ve liked more baking pans and maybe some kitchen basics like salt, pepper, tin foil, extra paper towels. But overall we had the best stay and would visit again!

Perfect Location
