This home can accommodate a maximum of 5 adults.
This property occupies the third floor of this building and requires guests to use stairs. Entry is on the ground floor then requires stairs inside up to all common areas and bedrooms on third floor.
The ground floor patio belongs to the downstairs unit and is not part of our home.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets.
NO pets. If pets are brought, guests will be charged a minimum of $600 plus any additional cleaning and damages. All service animals under the ADA guidelines need approval before booking.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Neighborhood Notes:
Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.

This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. The place was awesome! Location was great, very clean, a short walk to everything. Very accommodating and my family loved it. Definitely five star. The only challenge is the parking. Not equipped for large cars or any type of SUV. But, parking on the street was easy and convenient.Our next trip back is in April and I will book early.

Beautiful property, very well stocked kitchen for cooking, great outdoor spaces. Very clean on arrival. Comfortable beds, well organized rental and good communication with mgmt. Location is killer for kids and families including playground, beach and amusement park. I would not necessarily recommend this rental for very young kids as there are no child utensils, plates or high chairs. Plastic utensils are present, but not kid sized or portion plates etc. I can't give 5 stars for a few reasons, some operational, some organizational. The pack and play was mistakenly not left in the unit by housekeeping so we had an uncomfortable first night with our baby. We also had numerous hot water outages due to problems with the tankless hot water heater. These were resolved but required me to go down and reset the heater numerous times. Only other issue was the ability to fit two cars in the garage. The garage is super well stocked with beach stuff of all kinds but it is so full you can't fully reverse to the back. In order to fit two 4 door sedans, we had to pile bikes and beach equipment over the doorway to the house and then back cars up until they were touching bumpers. It was difficult to get in and out with the cars due to the tight squeeze. Overall, I think this was a great rental and if you have one car and kids aged like 4-12, you'll have a great time here. Our stay just had a few hiccups and we struggled with the garage space.

WONDERFUL

Beautiful apartment, great location, walkable to many restaurants. We loved the deck off the kitchen, spent mornings and late afternoons reading and relaxing. Very well equipped home- kitchen, linens, beach towels and chairs. Garage is tricky with anything larger than a standard SUV! My husband had it mastered within a couple of days :). Highly recommend this home and would definitely rent it again and/or use Drift Vacation for future needs.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The place was spotless when we arrived and clearly very well cared for. It was stocked with everything we needed—kitchen basics, fresh linens, and lots of thoughtful extras that made our stay super comfortable.The dĂ©cor was modern but cozy, and the layout made it easy to relax and feel at home. There was plenty of natural light and comfy furniture throughout. You can tell the owners really put effort into making it a great space for guests.We loved all the little touches that made it feel like more than just a rental. Highly recommend this place—we’d definitely come back!

We could not have been happier!!! The condo was beautiful and clean. Great location as well. Would highly recommend to others and will definitely stay there again. Besides it having the tightest garage width I’ve ever parked in, everything else was on point.

Fabulous Beach Stay

This property is absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect- so close to the beach, and the neighborhood has good restaurants. As others have said, the kitchen has everything one could need for meals at home. The beds were super comfy. And there were tons of beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and umbrellas. We will definitely be back!

Family Trip from the East Coast

This was our first family trip to the west coast and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. Perfect location between the beach and the bay with easy access to wherever you wanted to go. The house was spotless and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was excellent for making some meals in and the laundry came in handy every day. We used the beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and bikes provided so there was no need to rent anything or bring extra with us. Overall top notch all around. Highly recommend.

What a great place! Location was perfect. The park behind the place was an added bonus to the stay. The patio of the kitchen got a lot of use. Held all of us comfortably. Its where we played cards and board games. We used the fire pit almost every night. Eight of us in the place fit comfortably. The property management where perfect for a few requests we had. Great Location. Great home!

The entire process was painless. Home is beautiful. Loved having the beach gear in the garage. Walk to Belmont Park and the beach is super easy. Garage is very narrow so recommend a small compact car as your vehicle. Only downside was keeping the air conditioner at 72 degrees. This could be discomforting during the hot summer months. We keep our own home at 69-70 so we felt stuffy at 72. We all loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Would book again!

Pros: Location was fantastic. Just a few houses in either direction to either beach or bay. Views from front balcony were lovely. Perfect sunset views. The house itself was perfectly appointed. I honestly have not ever seen a kitchen so well stocked at a rental. The beds and linens were amazingly comfortable (my teen wanted to get the name of the mattress and bedding). Furnishings were clean and cozy. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. *could have used a few more beach towels but plenty of bath towels. Management company was communicative and always gave a prompt response. Check in/out was a breeze. Cons: 2 hours before arrival we were notified that the AC/heat units were not functional and would not be repaired until after our stay. They DID provide space heaters and fans for our comfort. Fortunately, the weather was lovely and with the heaters/fans were perfectly comfortable. 2nd day the clothes washer would not drain and was not able to be repaired until after our stay. This was VERY uncomfortable as we had packed counting on being able to wash clothes. We were told we could use a laundromat 5 mins away (NOT what I want to be doing on my PTO- especially at this price pt.). We understand unexpected things happen, but 2 big ticket items during our stay was a bummer. The owner did compensate for our inconvenience which was a nice touch (had to ask though). Overall would absolutely stay here again. Our family had such a great time we extended our stay an extra day!

Accurate description

Every review so far has been a 5 and we can see why. Everything was described accurately. You won’t need anything they have surf boards, boogie boards, bikes, wagon, toys, everything for the beach. You cross one light to get to the beach it was perfect. It’s In a clean neighborhood. The bedding was amazing. Beds were firm but the bedding and pillows were so comfotable. The fire pit table on the patio was awesome. We loved everything about our stay. This part of the beach was so soft and so close to the Belmont park.

The perfect beach house!

If you are looking for a house near the ocean this is it...it is about a minute away from the Ocean or the bay...the location was perfect and quiet...many things to do in the area...The house had everything we needed plus more...bikes, beach towels, chairs, toys etc...it was comfortable and well maintained...would absolutely book this rental again!
