Even though there were a few hiccups during our stay, the customer service and communication from Maurice were absolutely amazing! He was quick to respond and made sure everything was taken care of. The house itself is beautiful, a true beach getaway with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had eight adults, and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Maurice for being an amazing host, you have definitely set the bar for us!

We arrived on a Saturday and the beach was packed, noisy, and it was overwhelming. Right out the front window. We were not expecting that much activity. The next day Sunday less people and less during the week. It’s tight quarters at the accommodations with your neighbors and we were so lucky to have similar activity patterns with the rest of the other tenants. Quiet. Family. Respectful of each other. Until the next weekend when surrounded neighbors were up till late. Noisy. And made the trip less enjoyable. Not the fault of the VRBO. But it is notable Better tenant selection is key. Two nights we had little sleep due to noise and rude neighbors. Not ok. The accommodations were fine. I was disappointed in the linens and the towels. They were less than functional and many of the towels had holes and partially shredded. Otherwise the accommodations were ok. They could invest in better kitchen amenities.The host always responded to anything I communicated. I am not sure I would stay again due to large expense and the crapshoot of surrounding neighbors who stay. Be aware it is a very tight surrounding space. Beach is very populated. The view on a daily basis is who ever is on the beach day or night. There were many homeless individuals who created beds on the beach and slept there till the morning. Early morning trash pick up and lots of activity. The accommodations are ideal for 3-4 people. The host was good.

We are a family of 7, this rental was the perfect size to fit everyone comfortably. Perfectly located to the beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. Very clean and the best part was having our own washing machine and dryer. We will be renting again in the future.

How can you go wrong with a property like this? The beach is right out your door! The place is renovated, clean, comfortable. The view from the window is amazing. It’s close to shopping, easily walkable. Communication was always prompt and helpful. It was the perfect vacation.

Mission Beach -Great Location

Our stay was great. The location was wonderful. We struggled with the parking situation. If mgmt were to know who is using parking and who is not, it would be a great service because vacant spots could be utilized when tenants bring more than 1 car. Also, an alternative to towing should be discussed with tenants. If within reasonable times, calls could be made to tenants. Parking is a little like a shell game. Person 1 parked in person 3 spot because person 6 parked in person 1 spot, and so on. Also, fees Inc cleaning. We did everything on the checkout list—swept, put sheets in washer, hauled out garbage, run dishwasher and clean counters, wash towels, fold blankets, etc. Made us wonder what the cleaning fee was to cover. The late 4 pm check in and early 10 Am checkout is very difficult. Flights arrive and the guests have to wait around for hours (with luggage) until the 4 pm check in. The reverse for 10 am check out. Barely gives tenant time to get up, do all the cleaning, and get out! We had beautiful weather and a great time.

Great place right on the beach

We had an amazing stay at this beach condo! The location is perfect – right on the boardwalk, where you can hear the soothing sounds of the ocean and the lively beach ambiance with the windows open. The second-floor location offered just the right amount of privacy while still being close to all the action. It was incredibly convenient being close to food options and beach activities. Our two kids especially loved being so close to the ocean; they couldn't get enough of it! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Watch dolphins from the living room

There are ocean views and then there are OCEAN VIEWS and this place has the latter. Our kids really don’t like sand but it’s always been my dream to stay in a beach house. Perfect spot. We bird-watched, wave-watched, and people-watched for hours right from the living room. Owner Mauricio was super attentive to the minor me mechanical issue we encountered and had it fixed within a couple hours.

Gem of a Property

This was a fantastic find. Our family of 6 has stayed in Mission Beach for years at another complex, but wanted to bring our dog for the first time. This unit had much more inside space than we expected, lots of seating in the main room, an amazing view of the ocean from the huge front window, and out the door beach access as we wanted. Maurice is quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful trip to Mission Beach San Diego

2nd floor Ocean front 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms but two couches that fold down into beds. We had my wife and I, two boys and my one sons wife with a dog PERFECT! Owners are very nice and flexible and being on the beach AMAZING. Location cannot be beat! We will be back thank you. Tim

Perfect Location and wonderful condo

This is the perfection to be close to restaurants and without saying, the beach. The property owner couldn’t be nicer or more responsive. The most amazing part of this lovely condo for us was being able to keep the front windows open and hear the ocean all night. We will for sure be booking this location again.

Love the view for the window. The place was equipped with working appliances and stick with nice cups, plates, utensils, and cookware. The kids enjoyed the stay and we’re memorized by the morning views of the dolphins.

Awesome accommodations right on the beach!

Everything about this property was top notch. Communication was prompt from the minute of booking onwards. The location is perfect for being on the beach and near/walking distance to many shops/food establishments etc. Easy driver/Uber ride to the city. Sleeping accommodations as well as beds, laundry, stocked essentials, etc. made this a top notch rental! We'll definitely stay again if in San Diego! Thank you!!

Great Location

The house is in a great spot and it was so nice to let the kids play at the beach as we sat on the porch and had a drink. There is no AC in the house so be prepared to sleep with a lot of street noise. Additionally, the listing stated that it didn’t carry items like beach chairs, beach towels, etc and therefore we bought and brought all of those things only to find that there were these items in the house. Other than that, it was a good stay.
