Soak up the San Diego sunshine while staying in this private 2-bedroom apartment with a dedicated entrance above the detached garage. Quiet, safe, and convenient, this beautiful home is nestled in a small neighborhood of Italian-designed and built homes unique to anywhere in the U.S. Plenty of upscale restaurants are close by, along with the sandy beaches of Del Mar and La Jolla. There is a view of Black Mountain to the east.
This just-renovated 950 sq. ft. apartment features two large bedrooms, one queen-size bed in the main bedroom, two double beds in the 2nd bedroom, and a single convertible sofa in the living room. There is a large bathroom with a walk-in shower, a new and fully stocked kitchen, a spacious living room and dining area, and all the amenities expected from an upscale hotel. All of the windows, doors and the bathroom vanity were imported from Italy. There is a dedicated outside patio and seating area for you to use including a barbecue and outdoor heater. There is a washer and dryer inside the bathroom.
The property is located near numerous walking trails - amazingly picturesque hiking trails to the top of Black Mountain for a beautiful view of all of northern San Diego, La Jolla, Del Mar and the coastline; and a trail through the canyons all the way to La Jolla.
Other details to note:
The apartment is on the second floor over the 4-car garage as seen from the street. Stairs located in the rear of the garage building lead to the apartment entrance.
Host fees are as follows: $150 per stay for cleaning, $50 per stay for a pet
Getting around by car (or ride share services) is definitely the best option. The closest restaurants and grocery stores are about 1 mile away, not within reasonable walking distance, so we recommend you arrive by car or be prepared to use ride share services.
Access to the main house and back yard are not included.
Note that there is no tub for younger children in which to bathe.
Well behaved dogs under 50lbs/23kg are allowed upon approval. Please mention the dog's weight, breed, age, name, and send a photo in a pre- booking message.
Fast Wi-Fi is provided. In the living room there is a large-screen Smart TV with apps for free TV and for streaming from your personal TV content accounts.
