This welcoming South Mission Beach home is the perfect setting for your next coastal escape. Just two houses from the bay and one block to the ocean, this two-level retreat (the lower unit of a duplex) combines classic beach charm with unbeatable convenience.

The ground floor features two bedrooms, each with en-suite vanity areas, AC/Heat mini-splits in each room, ceiling fans, and direct access to the sunny, furnished front patio. Upstairs, the open-concept living room invites relaxation with a cozy brick fireplace, plush seating, and a large flatscreen TV. The fully equipped kitchen and adjacent dining area make meal prep and shared dinners a breeze.

Step onto the spacious second-level deck and take in views of the bay as you fire up the grill and dine al fresco. With outdoor spaces on both floors, this south-facing home is perfect for soaking up sunshine from dawn to dusk.

Board games, beach gear, and garage parking for two cars are all included to make your stay as easy as it is memorable. Whether you're planning beach days, bay strolls, or laid-back evenings on the patio, this classic Mission Beach home has it all.

For the most part it was an amazing stay! So happy we were able to stay here. It was only my husband and I, but we rented it for the living room/ dining area as it was perfect for hosting a small birthday dinner get together for my 92yr old father-in-law. Very peaceful time of year! And so close to the bay or beach! And within walking distance to Belmont Park. And the host has beach chairs & towels available to use! The only drawback for us were the planes over head. BUT, we loved it anyway!

The location of the property is pretty much perfect. The home is clean and well equipped. Beds were comfy and garage is full of anything you need to enjoy the beach. Communication with property management was super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and the property was very nice and clean. Great communication before, during, and at the end of the stay. I will say the available parking (in the garage) was extremely tight and tough to maneuver (Honda Pilot). Aside from the parking everything was great.

Much needed Getaway

San Diego is a great place to visit. And Mission Beach was just what we wanted with the boardwalk, great coffee spots, restaurants and of course the ocean. This VRBO is close to everything, we rely enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beach house in Mission Beach! The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the sand and surf. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this little slice of paradise again!

Fun bay and beach cottage

Roomy relaxing clean home in walking distance to Mission bay and beach. We liked the 2nd story deck, beach gear and toys, garage for parking (small cars) and well stocked kitchen and baths. No AC but plenty of fans and SD weather was temperate as usual

Amazing Place

What a wonderful beach vacation spot. They had everything we needed as a family of 4 and then some. The garage was one of the biggest we’ve ever had staying in Mission. Our Toyota Tacoma fit in the garage with ease. Lovely views and a VERY short walk to the beach or bay. We’d love to stay here again. BOOK IT!

Great Beach Getaway

The home is beautiful and well maintained. Quiet neighborhood, great for families and a short walk to the bay and the beach. Great small neighborhood markets and coffee shops. Parking and navigating the narrow streets and alleys is a bit difficult and if you don’t have a very small car, you won’t be able to get into the garage. But, there is street parking and free, safe beach parking a short walk away. Great experience, would recommend!

Our FAVORITE!!

This property is outstanding. It is exactly as advertised. It is super clean and in the perfect location. Just enough off the beaten path to not be super noisy but literally a 2 minute walk to the ocean-side beach or the bay-side beach. Property management was excellent with great communication and very responsive to questions. This will be our go to stay for vacation in San Diego!

Great spot in Mission Beach

Our family of four stayed at this property for six days while visiting San Diego. It was clean and bright, very close to the beach, and had plenty of amenities, including a washer/dryer and beach chair/toys. We had no issues, but the hosts were prompt with communication upon check-in/out.The garage parking is tight. We rented a Jeep Compass and had to carefully back in from a fairly narrow alley. The included parking worked great, but I'd be cautious with a larger SUV.

Perfect Location and amazing outdoor space.

We had a great vacation at this property. Very comfortable and having the two outdoor spaces was amazing. Double French doors having fresh air coming in was just want we needed. It is right near the bay and beach on the other side. Couldn't ask for a better location. We went to a music festival and visited our son in the Navy and it was all with in walking distance. We would come back.
