DESCRIPTION
Your perfect beach escape awaits in South Mission Beach! Nestled between the beach and bay, this stunning home offers unbeatable convenience being a short stroll from the lively Mission Beach boardwalk.

Enjoy elevated views of Mission Beach from the home's second and third levels. The upper floor features a stylish living area with a modern kitchen, cozy sectional, electric fireplace and a spacious outdoor patio. The deck, complete with a grill, is ideal for morning coffee or evening cocktails in the ocean breeze.

The well-equipped kitchen boasts high-end appliances, a breakfast bar and a warm dining nook. All bedrooms are on the second level, including a primary suite with a king bed, private balcony, luxury bathroom, and a small additional bedroom within the walk-in closet. The second bedroom also has a king bed, while the third offers a queen, both sharing a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Mission Beach boardwalk, a quick two minute walk, offers endless opportunities for surfing, swimming or simply relaxing by the ocean. Nearby attractions include Belmont Park, bike rentals, water sports, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park.

House was as advertised. Host answered questions right away. A short walk and your on the beach, tub was nice after cold water at the beach. Roller coaster right down the street. The best places to see is Balboa park, Sunset Beach, and Coronado Island. Watching people with gliders was great too

Location, location, location! Wow, great property, well equipped, excellent communication with property manager. One block from the beach, a small market, restaurant, bar, coffee shop. Close to boardwalk, amusement park, restaurants. Great patio off the kitchen/living room. We would definitely stay again!

Great launchpad for your Mission Beach adventure

Spent a month here this winter. The house was *sparkling* clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay and I greatly enjoyed my time there. You can't beat the location of course -- stores, restaurants and more beaches than you can shake a stick at are all within walking distance. And with Interstate 8 two minutes away and easy to access with minimal traffic issues, exploring the whole region is a joy. The house is on Mission Boulevard so expect some street noise during the day, but evenings and nights are much more quiet (the airport grounds flights at night, and traffic dies down to a trickle) and I didn't find this to be an issue for me. Be sure to read all the info provided at check-in; things like how to handle any issues with the (super fast) wifi or smart TV are all explained in there. All in all I had everything I needed, didn't run into any problems and didn't even need to contact the owners once for assistance. Entry into the garage is tight, not so much because of the door's width but because of the alleyway's width used to access it. A good turning radius on your car helps quite a bit here :) Also note that height clearance is 6' 6" so SUVs could be problematic (I chose to rent a sedan for this reason based on other reviews and was glad I did). This is just a fact of life in that neighborhood where space is at a premium and should be taken into consideration. I would absolutely stay there again if I'm in the area in the future!

Great location, should have been better experience.

Location is great, property would have been great ignoring the issues. We specifically rented this location because the garage was big enough for our large SUV. In the listing they mentioned the noise from the street construction, but didn't mention that the street with the garage entrance would be closed so the main reason we rented this particular listing was voided. We reached out multile times for this and another issue and were told by vacasa that a local rep would respond, but we never got any local help. We had to park on the street, we got a parking ticket, had to park far away, and got a large scrape on the side of my new vehicle when it was parked NOT in the garage. The other big issue was the hot water was very sporadic and the last day and night didn't work at all. Another issue was at some of the bedding had dirty spots with chunks of something, so not a stain but actually dirty. So construction should be over and you shouldn't have to worry about the noise or parking issues, and hopefully they fix the water heater and wash all the linens, and it would be a great place.

Close To Everything

This house was centrally located to the boardwalk(only 5-6 houses away) there were two fun bars down the street(we had drinks at both and played Bingo and trivia...FUN!!) mexican food across the street (yummy burritos) and italian food across the street (pizza was ok) It was very convenient if you didn't want to drive anywhere. The garage was a little tight. We had one very small car and medium sedan and it was a TIGHT squeeze. I would recommend it and stay there again!

Excellent stay

My family and I stayed here during Thanksgiving. This rental was everything we had hoped for. The place was very clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed for enjoying a catered Thanksgiving dinner. There was plenty of space for 6 people. The location was ideal for taking morning walks on the beach. I would absolutely stay here again next time I come to San Diego.

Fantastic Property

Great house in a great location. It was EXACTLY what it was advertised to be. Clean and comfortable. And don’t underestimate the value of the 2-car garage. Parking is a nightmare in this neighborhood but not an issue for us. Thanks for a great place to celebrate a memorable family event.

Great house, Great location!

This house had the perfect location. Minutes walk to the beach and also the bay, far enough away from the Belmont Park noise and traffic but it’s close enough to walk only about 10 minutes. House supplied all the beach gear, pop ups, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and beach towels. Parking- we were able to park our suburban with small roof rack with no problems and plenty of room in the garage for it, required a little maneuvering to pull in but wasn’t bad at all. The house was very clean and well maintained with a stocked kitchen. Sea world fireworks view from the balcony was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again!

Summer getaway

We had a group of 7 and had plenty of space! The house was clean, and had all we needed to feel at home. The pizza spot and Sara’s Mexican food across the street was delicious and convenient. We walked 2 minutes from the home to the beach down a paved walkway, the stay was perfect! Would highly recommend this home. We have an infant and took a pack and play for him, there was plenty of space in the master bedroom. Very family friendly.

A wonderful home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay in a lovely home, and I would absolutely stay at the property again. There were only 3 of us, and it was nice for each of us to have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was well-equipped, and I recommend BYO non-stick pans, if cooking on stainless isn’t your thing. Stairs are unavoidable and steep, so I do not recommend the home for people who have ambulatory issues or very small children. The rooftop outdoor dining area was amazing and well worth the climb, each and every time. The underground private garage has a steep incline and low clearance. My Mazda CX-5 made it in just fine, but it had to be parked a specific way in order to open the back hatch. We brought 3 bikes, and felt completely safe locking them up in the private underground garage when not in use. The house sits right on one of the major pathways, and biking around the bay and beach was an integral part of our vacation. The only other thing I’d recommend is BYO snuggly blankets for vegging out after a long day of beaching!

San Diego trip

Overall property was good. Good location, enough room.. Only complaints gas stove and gas barbecue both had to be lit with lighter. Management company seemed to be aware of it since I was told there was a long lighter in one of the drawers. Problem was lighter was about shot so really hard to use stove. Master bedroom has no closet or towels racks in the bathroom. House was clean and overall we had a good vacation.

Many Stairs

We loved staying at your property. It is top notch and felt spoiled. The beds and pillows were fantastic. We all slept like babies. Whatever issues we had were addressed immediately. Parking not so good. That would b the only downfall for me. Garage space too narrow. Was not thrilled with the ally way and garbage situation. Those things can not be helped. Gorgeous property. Would probably stay again but would really have to think about it, due to the stairs.

Good location but with challenges

Zero parking unless you have a mini vehicle. Garage is extremely tight to get a normal sized vehicle in and parking on the street sucks because it’s a busy neighborhood. They were generous with supplying spices, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, laundry soap etc. Sleeping arrangements were separate from living area and the bathrooms were beautiful, but one of the “bedrooms” used to be a walk in closet for the master bedroom so one of our guests slept in a closet with little room to put her belongings. The floors were filthy. That was our biggest complaint. We had to have shoes on 24/7, if we didn’t our feet or shoes were disgusting. Overall, we would stay there again. It’s a gorgeous place and great location close to the beach and convenience stores, liquor stores, restaurants within walking distance.
