We may be biased, but we don't think you'll find a better Hill Country view within the city limits of San Antonio. When we first saw this house, we decided to put in an offer even before ever going inside the house. That's how good the views are! It has been our personal home for 16 years, and due to other responsibilities this summer, we have decided to add our personal home to our vacation home portfolio, and share it with you!

Are we nervous? Honestly, a little! In our 14 years as SuperHosts, we have seen the best and (unfortunately) the worst in guests, but we hope people will see the love and care we have put into this home, and treat it better than their own (as we treat other Airbnb's when we travel). We also have great neighbors who will contact us immediately if our house rules aren't followed. :)

Some of our favorite things about our home are the spectacular views (especially at sunset!), sitting outside, watching the deer and other wildlife, and feeling like you're in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, while being in the heart of all things San Antonio. We hope you enjoy our Hilltop Gem!

The house was clean, check in was easy, and communication was easy with the owners. We had a group of 9 girls in town for an event. It is a lot of people in one house but we all fit well. The view is amazing.The major problem we faced was the AC. It worked fine, but the owners were messaging us to keep it at 76 during the day which is too hot. They mentioned the AC overworking but we are all from the Houston area and are very familiar with AC units. We also had 2 pregnant women in our group and 76 is very warm for them, especially with an upstairs bedroom. We did turn the AC warmer like they asked but they were definitely changing it remotely which was concerning. The thermostat eventually came up as locked, which seems absolutely wild to me when you are renting your house for others to use. It was also frustrating to be dealing with this while trying to have a fun weekend away.Overall the house was nice but it put a damper on the weekend to be dealing with this issue.

WOW-What A View!

We just returned from our stay in San Antonio. The best part of the stay was this home and the great location. Dont even think about a hotel when you can have accomodations like this! The view out the back is spectacular. The home is perched on a bluff or hilltop and we had nice breezes every evening. The pool was beautiful and was a nice retreat after your sightseeing visits. The table on the patio seats 8, so plenty of room for your evening cookouts. The home is nicely equipped and well stocked, but if you do need something, there is a Super Target closeby.. We were a short drive from Sea World and the Riverwalk area--and an even shorter drive to the airport! The owners are quick to answer any questions you may have. Our grandson enjoyed the wii, and brought some of his own games to play. The home has U-verse and wifi, which worked well throughout the house. We had a large group and had plenty of room. Don't hesitate to book this home! We will be back.

Great house and convenient too San Antonio!

Our family and friends loved the house. It was in immacculate condition and the kids loved the pool. All the rooms were comfortable and plenty of televisions. We would recommend this house and plan on staying here again in future. The owners are very personable and easy to get ahold of.

Amazing Home!!

We loved our stay at this home! It is a reasonable 20 minute drive to the downtown attractions. We visited the Alamo and the river walk area one day and enjoyed our meal at Rosario’s. We only had three days in San Antonio and we were looking for a quiet place to spend most of our time relaxing and hanging out with family. This home was the perfect place! The home sits up high on a hill and offers beautiful views overlooking the area from the pool, hot tub, patio and cabana. The way the house is situated on the hill, you get the feeling you are the only ones there even though there are neighbors. We enjoyed many hours outside barbequing, swimming, and enjoying coffee every morning on the patio. It was very relaxing listening to the early morning birds, and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. We cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The outside grills and refrigerator were really convenient for food and beverages considering all the time we spent outside. The home is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed playing Guitar Hero on the Wii and swimming. The owners were very accommodating and great in answering all of our questions regarding the area and house. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it to anyone heading to San Antonio. We will definitely stay with you when we head to Texas again!

GREAT EXPERIENCE

My family and I spend 5 days at this home and have nothing but great things to say. From the decor to the ammenities this house provided we were never in need of anything. If any issues arose, the home owners were prompt in addressing them to our satisfaction. The pool, hot tub, and huge patio were amazing features that overlooked the area and provided the relaxation we were hoping. We definately recommend this home to anyone in the area who is looking for an great getaway with more amenities than you can count and professional homeowners you can rely on. We will definately be back!!
