Short Stay near Randolph AFB

Overall the pictures are accurate BUT they are old pics of the place. Everything looks remodeled except the bathrooms. They could use a touchup and I did notify the host about it. The backyard is a lil overgrown but a good landscape will fix that. Everything works, it was clean. I could barely hear the train that others complained about. It didn't bother us. It is in an older neighborhood so some houses look rundown but that's not something I'd blame on the host. It is very close to Randolph AFB which was what we wanted.

Great Stay

Train noise and next door neighbor dogs barking at night. No street lights whatsoever.

Well, the house is located in old neighborhood, the inside of the house is updated and in line with the pictures shown in the add. However the front and specially the backyard needs a lot of attention. The fire pit was old and not level to the ground, the chairs were popped, the lights were partially down or damaged. Issues that can be addressed easily, but once you go outside, the next door neighbors dogs will start barking so is not very inviting to spend time outside. Once I decided not to use the backyard and decided to enjoy the inside, that is very nice and upgraded. Other issues that are not in hands off the property owners are the next door dogs barking at the middle of the night, and the train that runs every night with the whistle so it was difficult for us to sleep at night Danni was very responsive and we appreciated that she let us spend Christmas at her property

Cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at

Let me start by thanking Danni for the communication and clean and lovely property. From the moment we entered, we were surprised at how clean and well maintained this property is. Danni was there every step of the way. Even delivering a coffee maker in the same day (right?!?) because the one on property broke. The only thing we might change would be the fence, but we knew it was a shorter chain link fence from the pictures, but due to the neighbor’s dogs, we had to leash walk our pups. Now don’t get me wrong, they only barked while up on the fence and that doesn’t mean they are aggressive dogs, but we leash walked to prevent anything from happening. The neighbors dogs were actually pretty sweet when it was just us, and didn’t try to bite our dogs or anything. We are just super careful. There were ample cleaning supplies on site and we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again when back in town. I hope we will be invited back, as we tried to leave things as clean as we found them. Great home, nice quiet neighborhood and excellent host!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟This place was perfect for a family event we came to attend. It was super clean, everything was new and the host was great with communication.
