Summary:

The Zeta is a unique apartment located in the stunning Zetland building of Saltburn-by-the-sea.

This one bedroom apartment has been lovingly designed with a real focus on the history of the building. The walls are adorned with original artwork of local landscapes, bespoke furniture has been created from re-purposed floorboards and the original floorboards have been lovingly restored to add character to the apartment.



The Space:

This one bedroom apartment in Saltburn-by-the-sea is the perfect place for couples to spend some quality time together. The apartment is just a short walk away from the beach and close to a whole host of independent shops and eateries.



The property features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area.

This bright and welcoming space is designed with a hand painted wall featuring the towns famous cliff lift. The brightly coloured Joules sofa is perfectly placed to enjoy an evening in front of the Smart TV and the dining bench is dual purpose for dining and working. The fully equipped kitchen features a hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and a selection of crockery, cookware and dinnerware. This well thought out area has everything you should need for a stress free stay.



The bedroom is furnished with a plush king-size bed and a comfortable memory foam mattress, giving you a restful sleep.



The apartment features one main bathroom with a shower, basin and WC. A separate cloak room features WC, basin and drying rack. The perfect space for drying beach wear or wet suits.



At the front of the Zetland building you will find some public benches which allow you to watch the world go by with a view of the rolling seas.



Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



There is one parking space located in the private car park at the rear of the building. Additional free parking can be found on the nearby streets.



The Neighborhood:

The Zeta is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast.



Located in the heart of the town, the property is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.



Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful!



Getting Around:

The Zeta is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.



Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London. The Transpennine train also runs direct from Saltburn to Manchester Airport.



There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.
