Welcome to our newly remodeled mid-century modern basement apartment in Salt Lake City, Utah! Enjoy mountain views, a cozy outdoor fire pit, and easy access to 5 world-class ski resorts just minutes away. This two-bedroom unit features a Turkish marble backsplash and black walnut beams, a king bed, super fast wifi, and all the comforts of home, including a full kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer. A short drive from downtown, this apartment is perfect for adventuring in the Utah mountains or to visit your kids or relatives. The home is 15 minutes or less from the University of Utah, Westminster, and Primary Childrens Hospital.

This is a private suite in a 2-unit home (duplex). The top and basement units are completely separate and closed off from each other, and the home is sound-proofed to movie theater level quality.

KITCHEN
This is your home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked and features a brand-new range and fridge, a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee, stainless steel appliances, and ample prep space for cooking.

Freshen up your clothes with the in in-unit, front-loading washer and dryer.

LIVING ROOM
Sit down for a cozy movie night after a long day on the ski slopes. This living room is perfect for entertainment and relaxation. It has a large 55" flat-screen smart TV across from a comfy couch with plush cushions that are perfect for lounging on. Whatever you enjoy doing to unwind and relax, this room can accommodate it all, including a full sleeper sofa couch for the extra crew members.

BEDROOMS
Sink into the most inviting king mattress you'll ever sleep on with 500 thread count sheets covered in a plush duvet that will leave you fighting to leave its warm embrace in the morning. Additionally, enjoy a massive closet and a full dresser to store all of your ski and snowboarding gear before you hit the ski resorts in the morning.

The second bedroom comes with a dedicated workspace perfect for catching up on zoom calls, a spacious closet, and a full mattress with a thick layer of memory foam, providing optimal comfort and support for a restful night's sleep that won't let you get up in the morning because it is just that comfy.

The living room couch easily pulls out to a comfortable full-sized bed. Pillows, sheets, and extra blankets are provided.

THE LOCATION
This location is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty of Utah's mountains but still have access to the amenities of downtown Salt Lake City. You can find Mount Olympus and Millcreek Canyon's numerous hiking trails just a few minutes away. We are conveniently located at the bottom of Parley's Canyon, near Park City, with plenty of nearby restaurants, parks, cafes, and a library. Out of the five world-class ski resorts along the Wasatch front, our home is less than 30 minutes away from all of them.

PARKING
No need to worry about parking when you stay at this Airbnb. Enjoy a private driveway shared between this and the upstairs unit with two dedicated parking spaces just for you.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Enjoy the fresh mountain air and mountain views on the outdoor patio and around the fire pit. Take in the mountain views of the Wasatch Mountains or grill up a feast on the 6-burner gas grill.

AMENITIES
The unit is packed with amenities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We tried to think of everything, including a complimentary welcome basket with snacks, coffee, and tea upon arrival. We had a really cozy stay in this basement apartment. Great, safe location. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the space had everything we needed tucked into it - including a well-stocked supply of coffee pods and other snacks and toiletries. Carolyn, our host was kind and very responsive, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. As expected for a basement, it stayed nice and cool, which we appreciated. It is a bit darker with smaller windows, but that comes with the territory. The only thing that would make it even better is a larger, cozier sofa for relaxing together. Parking worked out great for our group of three vehicles - two fit easily in the driveway, and the third was just a short, easy walk away on the street.

The host has done a really great job at converting a basement into a comfortable living space that would be suitable as a living/working apartment! Everything we needed plus thoughtful details that make for true hospitality — snacks, sodas, toiletries, books. And yet a very clean, uncluttered environment. Was an ideal location for going to the mountains for skiing or into SLC.

Very nicely renovated basement apartment! Great neighborhood, very convenient location, and close to the main roads to ski, shop, and schools! Cozy beds, lots of towels, and very roomy. Kitchen is stocked with all of the basics. Carolyn was very responsive and receptive. Great spot!

We loved staying here! The check-in process was so easy. The host had everything that was needed, soap, toothbrushes, kitchenware, laundry necessities, and snacks drinks waiting for us! It was in a great location and close to where we needed to be, and hearing the small creek running next to the property was an added bonus. The communication with the host was INCREDIBLE, and made our stay seamless. If we are ever in the area again we will be staying here :)

Great location for skiing!

My friend and I stayed here for a few days for a ski trip and it was the perfect spot for us! Just enough space, great to have the kitchen and washer/dryer. Very conveniently located to both canyons and to restaurants/grocery stores! Also easy to get to the airport and downtown SLC. The place was clean, beds were comfy, easy check-in/check-out process, and Carolyn was very responsive.Would definitely recommend staying here!
