Gather with friends and family in the spacious outdoor kitchen/deck area Inside the home, you'll find a charming A-frame design with plenty of room for everyone! The property is pet-friendly, so you can bring along your pup to enjoy the fun. This home is an exceptional 4-season mountain retreat!This home offers:

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish, shower and laundry soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be emailed.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, unapproved pets or over occupancy of pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund, 15 days prior 50% refund, 15 or less, no refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

For a full week in Aug this is an amazing property. Excellent home base you can really just relax at. For the less mobile visitors, this is a great place to hang back and let time take its course. Bird life is abundant. View never gets dull. Back deck has some shade. Hot tub is a nice one. Only complaints are lack of shaded deck area and the need formore deck furniture. It is a huge deck and deserves to have a shaded sitting area. Beds were comfy and kitchen is well enough appointed.Some reviews say the space looks bigger than it is, but I would say the pics are perfectly honest. We never felt crowded and the space feels airy. The location is secluded and you can’t see or hear anything but nature, apart from owner’s house which neighbors this house.

Stunning Views!!

I booked this place for my family and I to spend Christmas together and man, we were not disappointed! Beautiful views every where you looked and so incredibly cozy! The wrap around deck is lovely even in the winter and watching the wildlife all around was definitely a bonus. Only suggestion is to make sure you have decent tires if there is snow. The driveway up to the house looks like it would be a little tricky if it is icey :)

One-of-a-kind spot

We loved our stay here and greatly appreciated being able to bring our pups. And the views are incredible! The host was super communicative and helpful throughout our booking process. A quick drive to Salida, and the gravel road to the property was no problem for our 4runner. The views are incredible! So much space in the kitchen, dining areas, and outdoor decks to hang out and the hot tub is huge. Highly recommend!

Winter vaca

Fantastic property that overlooks the valley toward Mt Shavano. We especially enjoyed the views from the hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub was down for one day because of needed maintenance. However, the host was great about communicating the issue, resolving it quickly, and giving us a small discount for the inconvenience. She could not have handled it any better, so five stars!

A great place to chill with friends, right outside town, but feels super private, with undeveloped land all around. Fantastic views to the west. Amazing outdoor decks and patios. Great place to relax.

Disappointing
..

The location is great, view is excellent. The pictures of the property are very deceiving, it’s much smaller than depicted. The kitchen is lacking in basic equipment and the bathroom mats need to be cleaned. Actually the place could use a good cleaning! Communication with Piñon Ranch was less than pleasant. On Thursday we received a text asking if we would like to stay one more day, the property was available. We could stay at a 15% discount if booked directly thru them. The text stated we needed to call by 8am Friday. We called to confirm we would stay Thursday evening and spoke to Ian who said he would send the message we were staying and we should call in the morning when the office opened. Promptly at 8:00 am I called and left a message we were staying, and again at 8:30 did the same! We went off for the day and at 11:30am we got a call that we needed to vacate and we were told there is no Ian there. They proceeded to be rude and not at all concerned that we were out already and said we needed to get out because they rented the house. Very underhanded, lacking professionalism and rude!
