130ft Classic Yacht near Man Utd & Media City

Jacamar is a 130ft classic yacht moored in Clippers Quay; a stone’s throw from Media City, in sight of and a short walk to Old Trafford stadium and a 15 minute tram ride to Manchester city centre.

Jacamar is a classic yacht with an industrial twist. The interior comprises of an 800sqft main lounge space, with comfortable cream Mathew Hilton sofas. The galley kitchen retains original features such as the ships oven, combined with new; including a high end Siematic kitchen and Smeg built in appliances. The dining area has a bespoke oval glass and granite dining table, whilst the wheelhouse with panoramic windows provides a snug TV lounge. Currently there are three ensuite cabins finished to a high quality standard with fittings from Villeroy & Boch and Phillipe Starck. Artwork and photography throughout the boat is by award winning photographers Anthony Crook, Guy Farrow and Amelia Troubridge.

Jacamar has central heating throughout.

Whilst we want all of our guests to enjoy Jacamar`s unique surroundings it’s important to state that the yacht is not a party boat, and not available for large groups, stag parties or hen do’s. We do offer a 20% discount for 2 night stays and ideally only host 6 guests in 3 double ensuite cabins but can extend this to 10 guests with 2 additional small double fold out beds. If our standard party of 6 guests do require to use the additional guest beds on their stay their is a charge of £75.00 per bed.

Guests can access the whole yacht with the exception of the engine room.

I am based 30mins away from Jacamar and available 24hrs if their is a problem.

The yacht is moored a ten minute walk away from Media city, which has a good selection of restaurants, including the newly opened Alchemist, the Botanist, Wagamamas and Pizza Express. It is also home to the Lowry theatre, the Lowry Outlet shopping centre and cinema, the Imperial War Museum and the BBC, not to mention Manchester’s Coronation Street set.

It’s also two minutes walk away from a newly opened Co-Op local for picking up essentials.

Please note: Jacamar is moored in Clippers Quay, alongside the quay in front of Abito Apartments and set away from the quayside for guests security. The yacht is accessed through the marina gate, across a gangplank which is over a meter wide and has handrails.

Clippers Quay being in Salford Quays can sometimes get debris coming into the dock getting past the boom. This happens throughout the Quays and is something I`m afraid we have no control over. Please consider this when booking if your expecting blue water and to be in Marbella.

Parking for two cars is available - which we will provide permits for (Subject to spaces being available as its a public carpark). If they are not the pay and display carpark on the Quayside is very reasonable

Exchange Quay tram stop is five minutes walk away and journey time to Piccadilly is approx. 15mins

We have a policy of only accepting guests with reviews and verified profiles. Please do not send us booking requests unless you have these in place as they will be declined. We do sometimes have guests without reviews if they email us prior requesting to book and details about their stay. are provided. Bookings through Airbnb are for guests staying onboard and strictly not for filming, photo-shoots or any other events which are classed as commercial bookings.
No stag or hen do`s.

We have had nightmares in the past with guests having parties and being a yacht still get a lot of people trying to book to have parties. We are not a party boat and there is to be a maximum of 6 guests included in the booking fee, any additional unannounced guests will charged at £150.00 per guest. (We will happily discount the additional guests fee by 50% at the time of booking if requested but it will be charged at full price if on the night) Additional guests refer to the number of people onboard at any time (this includes people such as chefs or photographers) and is not based on the amount of people staying overnight. Whilst this may sound harsh we would rather have families and friend`s enjoying Jacamar with no additional guests as we are not a party boat.

Please note our systems do tell us how many guests are onboard at any one time. Should a guest try to have a party or bring unannounced additional guests in line with Airbnb policy we have to request an additional guest fee and if this isn`t paid Airbnb will cancel the booking immediately and you will be asked to leave.

If we were (fingers crossed we never do) to enter another lockdown at the time of your stay we are more than happy to move the stay to another date for you. Any cancellations will be in line with our cancellation policy.

Please remember to leave all key cards when you finish your stay, as its just like taking the keys to a house with you when you leave. We have to have new cards programmed and it costs us £20.00 each which we have to charge you.

We provide brilliant Neil`s Yard Shower gels and hand-wash for our guests to enjoy and are more than happy if guests love them for you to take them with you when they leave. These are charged at £20.00 each .

We only use luxurious Manchester based Christy Towels which are white and I`m afraid if guests wish to cover them in fake tan and makeup which doesn`t wash out and we will have to charge you for replacements.

Strictly no smoking, vapes or candles anywhere inside the boat. It sets off the fire alarms which then calls the fire brigade and we really don`t wish to waste our local fire teams precious time.

No smoking on the outside main deck. but smoking is allowed on the lower deck by the entrance.

We have a great relationship with our neighbours and noise travels badly over the water across the dock so we cant allow guests to use the main deck after 10pm.

Please ensure you are respectful of other residents when entering and leaving the marina we ask that guests make sure the Marina gate is closed at all times during their stay.
