Tranquil Waters - Luxury Waterfront Home with Stunning Views

Tranquil Waters is a recently renovated beachfront holiday home with stunning water views of the expansive harbour. The four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two living areas in beachfront bliss. Enviably located on beautiful Wanda Beach, Tranquil Waters is perfect for water lovers - swim, fish, kayak, paddle board and build sandcastles with the kids right on your own doorstep. Nelson Bay’s town centre and marina are only 10 minutes drive away and Tranquil Waters is close to all Port Stephens many attractions and activities.

The sophisticated open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room are blessed with stunning north-easterly water views through the floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors which lead out to a patio and narrow grassy reserve that fringes the golden sands of the beach. The lounge room even incorporates a handy integrated drinks fridge. The fully equipped kitchen has a pass-through bar servery on one side opening onto a leafy and serene large courtyard. Here you’ll find an outdoor table and chairs for alfresco dining and a BBQ to cook up bacon and egg breakfasts or perhaps delicious fresh seafood feasts. Also opening onto the courtyard is the second living area with an additional TV.

Four stylish bedrooms include one with a king sized bed with enticing water views of the bay and opens onto a balcony. One bedroom has a queen bed and another has two singles, they both also enjoy sparkling water vistas. The final bedroom has sliding doors to the courtyard and two single beds. Lastly, there’s two luxe bathrooms. One has a shower, basin and toilet and the other includes a shower, basin, toilet and free standing bath tub.

Tranquil Waters is located on Wanda Beach, a calm water harbour beach ideal for children. Kick back and unwind in this quiet and peaceful location as you enjoy the glistening sea views while listening to the water lap at the shoreline just steps away. Stroll along the beach each day or wander up to the jetty and take in the ocean breezes or do a spot of fishing. Only 200m away is Bannister’s Resort, offering three restaurants, including the famous Rick Stein Restaurant.

Tranquil Waters has a laundry with washer and dryer, a double carport plus a spot on the drive for a small boat, air conditioned with ceiling fans in the bedrooms, an electric heater and free WiFi. The beds all made and towels provided for the bathrooms on your arrival.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 9 adults. The trundle bed is available upon request for a child.

$1500 Refundable BOND - payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

All booking guests, including Airbnb reservations, are required to complete a secure online guest agreement within 24 hours of booking. This includes providing valid photo identification (driver’s licence) and credit card verification

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

This property was so beautiful to stay in. It was in a perfect location opening right into the beach and also close to shops for convenience. We loved staying here and will definitely stay again!

Peaceful waterfront

Reviewer Comments: We were a family group of 5 adults plus a 9 yo and 2 yo and had a great time at tranquil waters. The weather was very warm during our stay but being right on the water we always had a sea breeze to cool us down. Sometimes the wind was too strong to open the doors but it was welcome. Holden were safe on the front lawn and we loved the convenience of walking to the sailing club for coffee or to Bannisters for a meal. There is a nearby wharf to fish from to entertain the kids. Not really suitable for swimming at the front of the house due to weed in the water. Need to travel to other port Stephens beaches to swim. Downside was large ($1500) security deposit, spiders in the garden, dead mouse on the interior lawn and the fact that the bed linen etc was at the front door on arrival. Needed to call the manager to get beds made etc.

The house doesn't have air-conditioning, so it was a big issue for sleeping at one hot night. The host should consider to install the air-conditioning at least at upper level bedroom and the living room.
