The Little House in the woods

Our guests rave about the view from the front deck and the visits from the woodland animals. Indoors you will have plenty of space to sit and play games, read a book or just relax. The well appointed open kitchen makes meal prep a breeze. And don`t forget about the soaking tubs after a long day of hiking or skiing. We are only 30 minutes from Schweitzer ski resort and Silverwood Theme Park and 10 minutes from Sandpoint. So much so close....skiing, hunting, kayaking, hiking and great dining!

This is a slice of heaven in the woods yet only 10 minutes to downtown Sandpoint or the quiet and picturesque Garfield Bay! …AND only 30 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park and the year-round fun of Schweitzer Ski Resort.

This home has just recently been remodeled with many beautiful touches. Living space is open and roomy. Kitchen has all brand new appliances with everything you will need to create warm and delightful meals.

Master bedroom has a queen bed with luxury bedding and a private bath. The second bedroom also has a queen bed with luxury bedding. Second bath is off the hall across from a full size washer and dryer. A Queen futon is located in the entry way for the 3rd sleeping area.

Note, our general policy is no pets, however, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

As you head up the long curving driveway into the forest, you will find plenty of free parking in our large parking lot that accommodates all our guests. There is also space for your summer and winter toys.

We are located off the US Route 95 in Sagle, ID. Nestled in the trees you will not realize that you`re only 10 minutes from the resort town of Sandpoint, 30 minutes from the Schweitzer Mountain Resort which offers amazing summer outdoor activities as well their legendary winter activities! And, just 30 minutes south is the Silverwood theme and water park.

Your hosts, Randall & Carol, live on the property as well, so if there’s ever anything you need, we can bring it right over!

We are located a couple miles east of US 95 on a beautiful 7.5 acres. There are houses nearby with their own acreage.

Idaho offers lots of wildlife and amazing scenery to explore regardless of the time of year. And, as locals ourselves we can point you to some special places to explore and some of our favorite restaurants!

Come prepared for the weather in the season your are visiting. Snow and rain are prevalent in the winter months. Cozy slippers are encouraged.

Our property also has a studio apartment available for rental. Additionally, our personal residence is also on site.

HOUSE RULES
🔹 Booking & Guests
• The person who books the stay must be present for the entire duration of the booking.
• Guests may visit during the day. If overnight guests exceed your original reservation, a $20 per person, per night fee applies. Please inform us in advance for linens and towels.
🔹 Quiet & Respect
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• No parties or loud music are allowed.
• Remember other guests and your hosts live nearby—please be respectful.
🔹 Safety First
• No smoking inside the Little House.
• No candles allowed due to fire risk.
• If you need additional kitchen supplies or appliances, just ask—we may have them available.

Feel free to enjoy the property and surroundings, but please be cautious and respectful:
• You are responsible for your safety while on the premises, including on stairs inside the house and outdoors.
• Use caution when using the stairs; they can be slippery. We are not liable for any falls or injuries related to stair use.
• The full kitchen is available for your use. Please use appliances responsibly. We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages arising from kitchen use.
• Supervise children at all times, especially near stairs, kitchen areas and on the grounds.
• Please do not damage plants or disturb wildlife if you explore the grounds.

• Outdoor BBQ grill and Blackstone are available for your use.
• Use at your own risk—we are not liable for injuries or damages.
• Never leave grills unattended and always turn off gas valves and clean after use.
• If unsure how to use, please ask for guidance.

• Please notify us or on the platform that you will are departing.
• Turn the heat down to 65.
• Please leave sheets on the bed.
• Start dishwasher if needed.
