Recently built high end very private Lakefront family cottage

Newly constructed (2021) high-end year-round cottage. Sunny south-facing level lot, built for multi-generational families, with many seating areas and large dining areas. All the luxuries and amenities you expect from a high-end custom new build. We are located just north of the town of Huntsville, Muskoka.

Floor-to-ceiling windows, towering white pine ceilings, central heat and AC, and all appliances and beds are new. A gorgeous long southern lake view, sand beach on a large quiet lake system.
It’s a very special place with unparalleled privacy and over 400’ of private waterfront and over 6 acres of mature treed land in a gated community on a private well well-maintained very low-traffic road. There is about 5000 square feet of indoor space and abundant outdoor living space.

The cottage was built in 2021. All new beds and furniture. 5 bedrooms in the main cottage and 2 more in the fully appointed guest cottage which is approximately. 20 steps away. Great for the Grandparents or siblings family as it has a separate master bedroom and a set of bunks (single over double)

2.5 hours from midtown Toronto – 35min to downtown Huntsville, Muskoka.

This high-end cottage has it all, well equipped for several families including an amazing sand beach, and very gradual sand entry, the kids can go out 50’ and be in 2’ of water, we offer kids water toys, inflatables, lake foam Matt, trampoline, ninja warrior climber, tetherball, kids playground unit with slide & swings, ping pong table, outdoor games, etc.

Well-equipped for parents too – unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi (Starlink), multiple T.V.s with Bell satellite, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Ample parking on level grade, Central AC, 6 burner gas stove, big BBQ direct gas no tanks to refill, large dining areas both in and outside, awesome fire pit overlooking the Lake with firewood included, spectacular south facing long water views on a VERY private Bay. Swing in the double hammock as the kids play on the beach or the playground or bounce on the trampoline. If work calls there is a small desk in the master bedroom and the internet works great for Zoom as is the cell reception. We are about 13 min from the local shops on HWY 11 where you find gas, LCBO, Tim’s, a grocery store, and some food options like Subway, pizza, and the super popular pierogi place.

The Lake offers great fishing and swimming. It’s a very quiet lake with very little boat traffic, there are three lakes in the system. The Lake is over 2100 acres, making Doe Lake the largest lake in the Almaguin Highlands area. It’s known for its Northern Pike, Bass, and Pickerel fishing. Our bay is one of the best fishing spots on the lake. We also include a small fishing boat for your use. Our kids have caught countless Pike, Bass, and walleye about 200m offshore.

There is a public boat launch about a 5-minute drive from the cottage and you can use our dock if you want to bring your own water toys. We offer a small row/ fishing boat, stand-up paddle boards, and two canoes with the property rental. We do have a selection of life jackets on site for your use but for kids, I’d bring your own.

The main cottage offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bedrooms upstairs with two full bathrooms. The master suite is on the main floor and has a huge glass wall overlooking the lake, Elec blinds, and a small desk. There are built-in wardrobes and a 50” HD TV in the master. The master washroom has heated floors, double sinks, huge stand-up glass-enclosed shower.

The main cottage has 8 beds in 5 bedrooms (master bedroom- king size, bedroom #2-queen, bedroom #3- double size bunks, bedroom #4- single over a double bunkbed, bedroom #5 has a double bed with a single trundle bed. Including the trundle, room to sleep 10 in the main cottage and 4 in the guest cottage.

The kitchen offers a 6 burner gas stove, 36” double door fridge, dishwasher, microwave, undercount beverage fridge, (added freezer space in the laundry room) seating for 14 in the kitchen and 10-12 at the outdoor dining table. Small kitchen appliances, warming draw, icemaker, Ninja dual brew coffer maker that takes Kureg pods and grinds (if you bring your own ground coffee), two sink areas, etc.

The water supply is from our private well on site and is fully filtered and UV’d. So no need to bring drinking water. We perform city testing on it regularly.

Includes towels, bed linens, pillows, soap, shampoo, firewood, sticks for marshmallows, all your outdoor seating and kids toys, blankets, washer and dryer with laundry soap, etc

The guest cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 (1x king and a single over double bunk bed) and a second-floor 300 square-foot rec room with a ping pong table and with sofas and 55" TV. The Guest house has a full bathroom and shower. It is NOT part of the rental from Oct to May, it’s heated but we don’t heat it through the winter. It also has its own AC system.

This is a personal cottage, not built for the rental market with low-end finishes. It’s a very special place with unparalleled privacy and waterfront. We offer it up for the season but as soon as we see 3 weeks of bookings we will close the balance of the weeks off to spend the balance of the weeks with our own family. So if you see weeks are open note as soon as we get three weeks we close the balance.

We include all the soap/ shampoo/towels/sheets/ dish soap/ laundry soap etc. so you don't need to pack and travel with this stuff. We can meet you there to go over things or leave a lockbox.
