This contemporary, two-bedroom lodge is 2.5 miles from the seaside town of Ryde, on the eastern side of the Isle of Wight. The holiday home welcomes four guests and makes a delightful couplesâ retreat or base for a small family. Journey north to explore the vibrant town of Ryde, with its sandy beaches, pier, and fantastic collection of independent shops and eateries. The town also hosts a wide range of events and festivals throughout the year. For keen walkers, the Isle of Wight Coast Path passes through the town, giving access to 68 miles of dramatic cliff-top tracks. The lodge is perfectly placed for exploring some of the islandâs top attractions, including Blackgang Chine, Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, Brading Roman Villa, and Adgestone Vineyard, all within 15 miles.
Inside, the holiday home has a sociable, open-plan layout with contemporary decor, a vaulted ceiling, and large windows framing panoramic views across the valley. The sleek kitchen area has all the equipment and worktop space needed to prepare home-cooked meals, which you can share around the breakfast bar or at the dining table. After a bite to eat, retire to the comfortable lounge area to chat about your day or watch TV. The lodge has two tranquil bedrooms: choose from a king-size with its own dressing room, or a twin room. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and completing the accommodation is a chic family bathroom.
Outside, a decked balcony with outdoor furniture wraps around the lodge, providing a delightful spot for an al fresco supper on a summerâs evening. Guests are welcome to explore the park, including the ancient woodlands, and can make use of the two on-site fishing lakes. Private parking is available for two cars.
