Lake it or Leave it! Lake House just one mile from Lake Cumberland Marina

Welcome to Lake it or Leave it! This family friendly lake house is located just 1 mile from Lake Cumberland Marina and 2 miles from Alligator 1 ramp. There is plenty of room for parking a boat and vehicles in the driveway. The house offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen/dining, central living area, washer and dryer and a basement area for extra fun! Each bedroom has a queen bed and the couch in the living room has a pullout bed. A Pack N Play and booster seat are stored in the bedroom closet for the little ones.

The back deck overlooks the beautiful ravine while you grill and enjoy the peaceful escape. The walk out basement/bonus area holds a bar, dinette set, seating area, and a second refrigerator/freezer. The basement, accessible only from the outside, opens up to the backyard with a picnic table and ample seating around a custom-made fire pit for your evening unwind after a long day on the lake.

Wifi is available and the password will be provided.

There is no cable, however there are smart TVs in the living room and basement that any of your favorite streaming apps can be found on.

Nearby Somerset is an easy 45-minute drive east. There are many things to enjoy in Somerset including vineyards, a water park, theater, restaurants, and shopping. Somerset also boasts an active festival, car show, and music event schedule.

Lakewood Golf Course is a 25-minute drive west if you want to bring your clubs!

Want to spend some time at the lake, but not on a boat? There is public beach access by turning right onto Park Rd at the bottom of the ramp at Lake Cumberland Marina where you can relax on the beach or wade into the lake to cool off. The Marina is a short walk away from the beach. Take a walk on the docks and see all the beautiful boats waiting to depart to make memories on the lake. Want to leave your boat on the lake overnight? The marina offers overnight slips for a fee.

Be advised, there is a security camera on the front exterior of the property to monitor the weather and plan for mowing/snow removal.

Lake Cumberland Came and Went

The property owners were incredible, prompt, and helpful. The property is very clean and roomy. A definite off the beat and path area perfect for family time. HOWEVER!! We arrived, dropped our items off, checked out the space, then headed to the marina/beach area. Once we arrived we received an urgent phone call and had to immediately grab our items and return home. This was a very expensive 10 min stay.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at the property. It was clean, had a great layout for our group, and had everything we needed for a great few days - gas grill, fire pit, laundry etc. Conveniently located near both Lake Cumberland Marina and the Walls Lake Stop and an easy drive to the Prudy Hill dock. Tons of sleeping arrangements even though we only needed the bedrooms. The downstairs bar was great and made for the perfect place for us to watch TV and have our fantasy football draft. Fridge and ice downstairs was perfect. Communication with owners was easy and smooth. It was the perfect place for our needs and weekend on the lake. Highly recommend!!!

Great Stay

My family along with my sisters family enjoyed this home for a long weekend. There was plenty of space, all of the basic necessities and it was clean and organized. The host was very quick to respond to all of our questions and was extremely helpful. It was also great that a pack n play, booster seat, kids plates/utensils and games were at the house. The home is on a quiet road and only 5 minutes away from the marina.

Excellent VRBO 6/19 - 6/23/23

We were pleasantly surprised at what a great place this was. It was clean, well decorated and fully equipped with most of what we needed for cooking and grilling. There was a fire pit in the back and a really nice basement (accessible from the outside). There was a corn hole game, bicycles for our use. A freezer with bags of ice for our use (to be replaced as used) 2 refrigerators, an air fryer, washer and dryer. We had plenty of room and had a wonderful time. It is located 4 minutes from the Lake Cumberland marina. The lake is beautiful and there is a very nice little store at the Marina. We had almost immediate response from the owners! We plan to go back next year!

Great stay at the lake

We’ve stayed at many rentals in the area and this is one of our favorites. It is conveniently located with a very short drive to the boat ramp. The house had anything we could have needed with a fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer. We had 2 boats and 3 trucks and there was more than enough room to fit it all in the driveway. We will definitely stay here again.
