Welcome to Deer Lodge, the largest and most luxurious of our bespoke shepherd huts, designed to provide an unparalleled retreat amidst nature. Sleeping two adults and a small child, this charming accommodation is nestled amongst the sheep and wildflowers of Drews Farm a working farm just a 15-minute walk from Rowlands Castle train station. Start your mornings lounging in the walk-around king-size bed, where you can bask in the sunrise over the fields. The third bed, cleverly converted from the seating area, adds to the flexibility of this unique space.

Deer Lodge features a range of top-notch amenities, including a cosy wood burner, a well-equipped kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom with a hot shower. Outside, you can enjoy a fire pit with comfortable chairs, perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset over the tranquil landscape.

The property includes two shepherd huts positioned in the same field but facing different directions, ensuring privacy and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Drews Farm, a family-run operation with sheep, cows, chickens, and arable land, provides an authentic rural experience. The huts are conveniently located just off the farmyard and adjacent to the main barn. Built by the renowned Plankbridge, Deer Lodge exemplifies craftsmanship and luxury, featuring an orthopaedic mattress, a fully plumbed en-suite, and energy supplied by solar panels on the barn's roof.

For outdoor relaxation, soak in the double-ended free-standing copper bath, which comfortably accommodates two and offers a secluded spot with views of Stansted Wood. With ample hot water available, there's no need to wait for a hot tub to heat up.

We offer secure storage for bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, and other gear. There are 3 local English pub within walking distance. For those seeking adventure, electric bikes can be rented by prior arrangement, and local windsurfing and sailing lessons can be organised. Paddle boarding is also available on the nearby Chichester Harbour, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
