Arrived on the absolutely coldest time of the year. We found the house inviting and quaint. The view of the lake was wonderful and a big window to sit and drink coffee by. I commented that I thought the lake would be great in the summer and not at 17 below, but ice fishing did cross my mind. The dogs walked in the park across the street, next to the lake and were greeted by many other dog "friends". Although it is on the corner, it is a quiet neighborhood. Furniture was typical of a rented house, but very nicely done and not overdone. It appeared the owners took the advice of other reviews and added the things that people suggested (like a coffee table in living room). The pictures show a twin bed, but there is a full/queen in each room and the one room has bunk beds. We had a great time. We were in town for a dog show and it met every need! The only thing that I would change is that for those of us who pick the coldest week to visit, it would have been nice to have a few extra blankets in the closet, but not a necessity! We had one little issue and the hostess responded quickly and promptly to our needs! Thank you for a great stay!
