The Neighborhood:

Iles Inn sits in leafy, sought-after Lynmore, one of Rotorua's most popular residential suburbs on the eastern side of town - quiet, green and wonderfully handy. The Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest, with its world-famous walking and mountain-biking trails, is just 800m away - an easy walk or ride from the door. Rotorua Airport is about seven minutes, Te Puia's geysers eight, and the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa and central Rotorua around nine. Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are over on the western side of town, around eighteen minutes away. The Blue Lake, Lake Ōkareka and Lake Tarawera are also an easy drive for a swim or a paddle.



Getting Around:

A car is handy here, with an internal-access double garage. The Redwoods forest is an 800m walk, Rotorua Airport about seven minutes, Te Puia eight, and central Rotorua, the lakefront and the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa around nine. Skyline, Zorb and Canopy Tours are roughly eighteen minutes on the western side of town. Uber, taxis and buses are available nearby.
