The Neighborhood:

Home Base sits in central, leafy Glenholme, one of Rotorua's handiest suburbs - a short walk or drive from the city centre. You're wonderfully close to everything: Te Puia's geysers and living Maori village are just three minutes away, the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa and central Rotorua about six, and the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest, with its world-famous walking and mountain-biking trails, around eight - an easy ride with the bikes. Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are about eleven minutes away, with Rotorua Airport twelve.



Getting Around:

You're central enough to reach most of Rotorua in a few minutes. Te Puia is three minutes away, the lakefront and city centre around six, the Redwoods forest eight (an easy ride or short drive), and Skyline, Zorb and Canopy Tours about eleven, with Rotorua Airport twelve. There's off-street parking in the driveway, and buses, taxis and rideshares are easy to pick up from this central spot.
