The Blue Ridge Cabin is on the 151 Brew-ridge Trail at the base of the mountain, mins to wineries, breweries, hiking, skiing, golfing & lake fun. Experience a mountain vaca in this fun bear-themed cabin on 2 private acres, tucked away yet close to it all! Located just a 1/2 mi from Devils Backbone Brewery, 1 mi to Bold Rock, 3 mi to 3 Notch’d Brewery, less than 10 mins to the App Trail, Shenandoah Nat. Park & Wintergreen Ski Resort! The must see spots are so close that you can see it all!
The space
Enjoy a memorable getaway at this 2 BR, 2 BA cabin with mountain views at the base of the mountain right ON the “Rt. 151 Brew Ridge Trail”. You’ll be able to soak in the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 2 private acres while being close to all the fun! There are 6 breweries, 3 distilleries, 3 cideries, and over 10 wineries within a 20 min radius.

When you’re not out exploring the area, come home to reconnect with family & friends playing board games, puzzles & yard games! You can also have a friendly competition to see who can spot the most bears at this bear themed cabin. So far our highest count is 128!

Enjoy relaxing by the fireplace or gather outdoors around the gas fire pit for s’mores & a fireside chat.

If you feel like taking a break from it all, relax on the hammock with a good book under the canopy of trees. Cook a nice meal on the grill or in the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy picnics on the tables in the back yard or the eat-in kitchen.

If you need to work during your visit...no problem! Will the kids need a way to stream shows...we got you covered! There is fast fiber internet here & a desk in the master bedroom! Enjoy having Smart TV’s in both bedrooms + the living room.

The kitchen is open to the living room so all can take part in the fun even while making dinner! Kick back in the lazy boys and cozy up by the fireplace after a fun-filled day.

We provide camping chairs (4) & a picnic blanket (found in master closet) that are great to take to wineries or on hikes. Also lanterns/flashlights to guide your way around the property at night (in kitchen cabinet).

We strive to be the best family friendly property around, providing parents with a stroller, high chair, sound machine, baby monitor, pack-n-play w/ sheets, baby blankets, outlet covers, kids plates, silverware & cups. Also, there’s a children’s nature trail with a nature play kitchen just 2mi from here at the Rockfish Valley Foundation.

-The perfect space well outfitted to prepare delicious meals & reconnect with friends & family.
-Appliances include a Keurig coffee maker that can make a single cup or full pot of coffee, crock pot, waffle maker, toaster, fridge, stove, dishwasher, & blender. Coffee, filters, cream & tea provided.
-Kitchen is fully stocked with pans, baking sheet, serving bowls, wine glasses, can opener, wine/beer opener, knives, drainer, cutting board, etc.

-Top-of-the-line water filter attached to the cold water line of kitchen sink for drinking water. You will also have a filtered water pitcher in fridge.

***Pets are welcome! We provide bowls & a dog bed. Please bring a crate to crate your dog while away. There is a 2 pet max & a $100 pet fee. Please be sure to add dogs to the reservation if someone in your group is bringing their dog and please pick up after them***

All of the main level of the cabin. No access to basement.
Other things to note
-Well behaved, house trained dogs welcome with $100 pet fee (2 dogs max). Please let us know at time of booking if you will be bringing a pet. Crate your dog(s) while you’re out, keep them off the furniture, & pick up after them please. Dog bowls, bed & waste bags provided.

-Guest will need to bring charcoal for the outside grill to use it. We provide the propane tank for the fire pit, but guests may need to exchange it for a full one when/if needed.

-You may wish to bring a stocked cooler as the nearest full service grocery store is 30 minutes away. There is an IGA & Dollar General 5 mins away that are great for picking up drinks & common items.

-We offer early check-in/check-out options:

-The max guest count of 10 assumes two people per bed including the pull out sofa on main level.

-Cabin is peaceful on the quieter section of route 151, though it is about 300’ off the road, so you might occasionally hear some traffic noise.

-Driveway entrance is shared with a neighbor. The neighbor’s driveway goes straight up and the cabin’s driveway veers immediately left. Please do not go onto neighbor’s property.

-Please do not flush anything but #1, #2 and TP down the toilet and use strainers in kitchen sink to catch food scraps and discard in trashcan. Cabin is on a well/septic system.

-Parents- we provide a Pack-n-play, baby monitor, white noise machine & high chair for your convenience, so you can travel lighter! (All these items can be found in upstairs master closet)
