At Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat, we provide luxurious accommodation set within 86 acres of private forest.

We have 2 one bedroom, self-contained rammed earth chalets, each offering spacious and modern living areas along with inviting outdoor spaces.

Located just 15 minutes from Margaret River, we offer a serene and secluded forest escape.

Perfect for couples looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply unwind, our retreat is also dog-friendly too.

Sit back and unwind on the deck, surrounded by the forest and serenaded by birdsong. Relax in the luxurious deep bath or the spacious rain shower, both offering stunning views of the natural beauty outside, or soak in the hot tub under a sky full of stars.

The chalets feature beautiful rammed earth walls, warm wooden floors, and a carpeted bedroom with a King-size Marri bed, quality mattress, plush pillows, and linens. Enjoy reverse cycle air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. The bathroom boasts a deep two-person bathtub set in a bay window overlooking the forest, and a spacious two-person rain shower. There’s also a separate toilet, laundry with a washing machine, a 55` Smart Ultra HD TV with free streaming services, Bluetooth speaker, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Additional features include a cosy wood heater (seasonal use), beautiful Marri wood furniture, outdoor hot tub, dining furniture, a Weber gas BBQ on the covered timber deck, and sheltered parking.

We`re dog-friendly too, so your furry companion is welcome.

Our Dog Friendly Information

We welcome responsible dog owners as we are very pet friendly here – having fur children ourselves and always having dogs in our lives from an early age. There is no enclosed yard as we are in the middle of the forest but we do have a nice clear area where the dogs can go which our previous guests with dogs have been very happy with :)

We also have some lovely bush tracks around our property where you can easily take your dog for a short stroll or long walk to exercise them (please refer to the book of words on the coffee table for more information).

We just ask that you bring your dogs belongings ie bedding, bowls, food, toys etc etc as we do not offer these and have some simple requests while you are here for example:

We ask that your dog isn`t left in the chalet on his/her own, that you are responsible for him/her (ie kept on a lead when on the property), that you clean up after him/her both inside the chalet and outside before you leave, unfortunately due to a previous bad experience please do not allow your dog in our newly laid carpeted bedroom area (brand new and only laid on 15th April 2024) or on the furniture especially not on the new sofa - as any damage and/or scratches will have to be paid for accordingly - thank you).

We charge $35 per dog per night which is payable locally on arrival.
