Great House, Horrible Vacasa App

If this review was based only on the house rate, condition, location, amenities etc, it would be 5 stars across the board. The house was very clean and had a great layout for our extended family fishing trip. The kids had their privacy and the adults did too. The only issue we had was with communication/vacasa app. We asked about the pier lights not being lit and got no response. We knew they were on a timer but they did not turn on until very late. We also received zero check out instructions. When I asked about check out we didn't receive a response until 1pm. Check out was at 10am*. The wifi was also managed through Vacasa and required you to authenticate with your email a dozen times a day. You could be browsing and set your phone down to eat or use the bathroom and pick your phone up and it would be asking you to authenticate again. Could be a headache if you have little ones. We fished the pier only one night and caught several small trout. Overall we had a good experience minus the Vacasa complications.

Beautiful home

Location was a little out there for us city folk but not a deal breaker by no means. House was very beautiful and SPACIOUS. Wife loved the dual full baths, we have a big family of 8 plus our sons gf so the wait for a bathroom wasn’t as it would’ve been with only one. Good job on that, overall rating, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great potential False advertisingsing-dissapointed

Upon arriving there were 3 full trash cans at the drive way and 2 full overflowing trashcans in covered parking with ants and flies! We had to pull 2 full cans to the roadside having no place/receptacle to leave our trash for our 3 day stay. None of the electrical outlets nor bedside lamps in walls in bedrooms worked. We called Vacasa at 2pm waited on hold for 17 minutes Monday 7/25 and were told someone would be sent out. No one called or came by. No follow up at all by property manager! My husband had to find breakerbox and flip breakers to fix this. The elevator listed as an "amenity" on VRBO was not assessable as the doors were locked both up and down stairs. We choose this bc my 73 mother with a heart condition was with us on vacation. There were 14 steps up, a deck , then an additional 24 steps up to the back door! Again we called and were told we'd be contacted as the Vacasa represenative could see the feature on listing however stated theres a note "elevator for owner personal use". This is FALSE ADVERTISING AND WE PAID FOR THIS AMENITY!! The downstairs lighting under deck, on all porches was very dim and not adjustable. A HUGE HAZARD! We were told the prpoerty manager would contact us as this caused 4 of my family members to slip down the very steep stairs. We were not able to entertain or be out in the area after dark due to poor to nonexisting lighting.....Again called VACASA after being on hold for 30+ minutes and the issue was never resolved!!! No contact from Property Management!! Over all very dissapointed ....the down stairs outside shower was not useable bc the door was broken. The walk in shower attachment was covered in black mold, the kitchen to outside door handle was broken, 2 large roaches in tub bathroom, the deck to pier walkway had no lighting and was a huge hazzard. While the home was beautiful is was dissapointing to make numerous calls abd get no resolution. Repairs needed and follow through needed. You should not have so many issues for a vaca home you pay for. No compensation offered. While this home has great potential this inability to have issues resolved will prevent us from ever using VRBO-VACASA. I HAVE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING MENTIONED AND TIMES/NAMES OF ALL REPRESENATIVES I SPOKE TO EACH TIME WE CALLED.
