Kick back in the living area and stream favorite shows on the Roku TV. Gaze out the window at the great view of the bay. Beautifully remodeled, the modern kitchen has all the gadgets you need to whip up beach snacks and festive meals. Stream a movie on the wall-mounted TV while your recipes simmer on the gas range. Extras include a Keurig machine. When it’s time to eat, gather around the dining table.



Barbecue tasty meals on the gas grill, then dine alfresco at the table for three surrounded by thriving greenery in the backyard.

Comfy, cute place to stay! Walk to the jetty was easy and it was wonderful to soak in the hot tub (clean, hot, and well maintained!) after getting cold from the ocean winds.

Cute house on Tillamook Bay

The home had a very strange smell to it. We couldn't pin it down, but we used some air freshener and that seemed to cut it down a bit. The hot tub also needs a deep clean and water replaced. Incredible location though. Close to everything great! Overall, it was a good stay.

Clean and welcoming home!

House was super clean, and inviting! Beach and convienence store are very close walking distance to the house, and hot tub was great! Kitchen had everything we needed to be able to make dinner at the house.

This was the PERFECT setup (with some important downsides) for my business planning week away from home. The jets in the hot tub work, the kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook meals, and the location was so quiet! Some downsides: the upper level was musty and didn't get used, the fire pit in the listing is not on site. Above all else, it was near impossible to communicate with the property Management company (obvious use of an AI agent rather than a human responding, some messages were never answered, hours between responses, difficulty extending the rental which caused a miscommunication with the cleaning team and ultimately drove us away from staying the addition nights we hoped to.)I will be sure to review coastal listings for casago and avoid their properties in the future.

We spent two nights at the Coastal Craftsman. It was clean, charming, cute and had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time here because we were sight seeing. The location was perfect as it was easy to get to the beach and state parks. We were hoping to use the hot-tub, but could not figure out how to get it to work.

Oregon coast Get Away

This house was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking meals. Also, there is a small grocery store within walking distance. The ocean is a short walk away. We only slept downstairs and that bed was fine. It would be nice to have more hooks or drying racks for damp clothing or towels.

We enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was wonderful, this place suited our needs, The only negative I would put is the steps going out the back of the house are very rickety and feel like they could break and somebody might get hurt, other than that everything was clean and was great. One other thing this place only has a peekaboo view of the bay at one window

It was a wonderful place to stay. Our only complaint is that we were mislead by the ad - which said to strip beds and leave all linens against the washer. However, upon arrival we found that although there was a washer and dryer, it was locked away with the owners' storage unit. Had to find a laundromat which took way too much of our vacation time and it was costly. The rest of the house was fine - plenty roomy for the 4 of us and the kitchen table allowed us to play card games and enjoy visiting and catching up with our cousins. We also loved riding the train right past our own place - and we also enjoyed waving at those waving at us from the train.

The photo shopped VRBO listing is misleading. The home is smaller than advertised and the water view is only visible from the street. The master shower is very small and confining. The home is well stocked with linens and kitchen ware. Overall a 6 out of 10

Accurate description

We felt the pictures and description were accurate. Bed was comfy and everything very clean. The bay is easily seen out a medium size window. It is not bay front. It is the 3rd home away from bay. Would be so nice if it had a washer/dryer for guests to use but they do not list that in amenities so it is what it is. Good value on a well kept home. Kitchen faucet has a little side spray that needs to be fixed. Would be an easy fix. We would recommend if you are looking for a well kept and stocked house for a good price.
