If you love anything Victorian this is the place for you! The woodwork was exquisite! We had a lovely stay. Barbara was a wonderful hostess and made us a delicious breakfast! Fresh fruit with whipped cream. Lemon poppy seed muffins, raspberry kuken, ham and cheese omelets, OJ, coffee and tea! We enjoyed chatting with her and finding out about the history of the house!
this was such a wholesome, cute experience. it was like staying in a museum. the owners are SO sweet and treat you like family. it's obviously an old house, so things are dated. don't expect luxury tech or super fancy, modern accommodations. it feels more like staying at a realative's very, VERY large old home. we were 2 of 3 total people staying that night, so we got to look around the rooms and explore and it was peaceful and homey. definitely reccommend if you're looking for an experience different than your usual hotel!
The bedroom and adjoining bathroom in this magnificent old house were the perfect alternative to a hotel when I was in town to participate in the 7-mile Bix run. If you're interested in a one-of-a-kind experience, I highly recommend Victorian Inn B&B. The owners are very friendly, the neighborhood is quiet, and it's an easy walk to downtown Davenport.
The owners met us at the door to show us how to gain entry. The couple showed their excitement for our arrival and the for the opportunity to get to know about us. The house was charming and I feel I need another stay just to have the opportunity to learn more about the family that built the estate. The home was large and boasted many Victorian age collectables. The room was large and felt welcoming. We were treated almost like royalty with the attention placed on making us feel at home and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and served to us in two courses. I truly look forward to being able to revisit, God allowing.

Their daughter, who helps with the day-to-day operations, was there in the morning and shared more about the details of the mansion. I truly look forward to being able to revisit, God allowing.
Host was very knowledgeable about the area. Lovely antiques in the inn. The area felt safe. Appreciated having access to water, coffee and pop. Very easy check in. Breakfast was well presented and good.
Bed was very soft and uncomfortable. Room was overly warm and stuffy even with the fan provided.
Staying at a bed and breakfast is a lot different than your usual hotel stay. Itâs more interactive and personal. The hosts at this place get it right. They are genuinely nice and interesting people whom I enjoyed hanging out with for awhile. The house was gorgeous and comfortable. I truly appreciated being able to stay here rather than at a big-box place.
The Parkers were very attentive and friendly and breakfast featuring a delicious quiche qmwas wonderful.
This is as advertised a Victorian Inn, very historic large house and big soft comfy bed with cool old furnishings and feel.
Thanks for the great experience Barbara and David.
The hostesses are so friendly, they have shown a great cares about the guests from the moment we booked to the minutes we left. The houseâs rooms are beautiful, cozy. The breakfast prepared by the hostesses is delicious. We love the hostesses and the house. Thumbs up!
