Cozy Corner: Relax on an Amish Equestrian Farm

Bring a good book, settle in, and enjoy ultimate relaxation. Located on the border of PA and DE, this MD property is within an hours drive of many attractions. This 1st floor apartment is in a historic building which was renovated in 2021, by a young Amish family. Gaze out the windows to watch horses and riders at the riding school that’s on the premises. Enjoy the 1 mile nature walk trail system through this 35 acre property. Or, visit any of the local attractions located nearby.

Embracing a modern farmhouse aesthetic, The Cozy Corner Getaway is the ideal romantic getaway for a couple. Enjoy peaceful mornings watching the sun rise over the horse pastures while sipping coffee or tea. The apartment is perfectly setup for 2 people and has everything you’ll need to maximize your relaxation.

The bedroom has a queen size bed and a functional fireplace for ambiance. There is a full bathroom off the bedroom as well.

There is a small desk for those looking to work remotely. In the living areas, there is a loveseat as well. The kitchen is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, induction stovetop, and Keurig. There is a pub-style 2-person kitchen table, as well as 2 chairs right outside the front door, to watch the sun rise or set your choice.

This is the ONLY 1st floor suite, renovated in 2021, by the young Amish owners. The entire building has AC and electric heat. The farmhouse shares the grounds with an equestrian riding academy. You are welcome and encouraged to watch the riders and horses. Feel free to inquire with the trainers about horseback riding lessons or rides.
Enjoy the 1+ mile of trails in the back of the property.
Please do not enter any barns or other buildings on the property without permission as it is a liability concern.

* Guests are free to access anything in their suite.
* The only shared amenity is the front porch of the main entrance.
* Please refrain from photographing the Amish, if you happen to see them.
* The 34 acre lot houses Opening Number (horse) Riding Academy
viewing the lessons is permitted.
* Please do NOT explore or roam the grounds.

Located on a quiet backroad in Rising Sun. The road traffic tends to be minimal. We share this location with the Opening Number Riding Academy. Please feel free to watch the horse lessons and inquire about a riding lesson if you`re interested!

We are in a rural setting and traveling by car or bicycle is recommended. There is ample parking available on the property.

** Quiet time is 10PM. Please be mindful of other guests in the building trying to rest or sleep.
** NO photographing the Amish if you happen to see them ;)
** NO PETS PERMITTED.
Hey There. We cant wait to host you during your stay. However we do have to enforce some rules for the safety of our house [ we take a lot of pride in it ] and to make sure we keep our neighbors happy. [ 1 ] The occupancy limit for this property is the same number of guests as your reservation at all times. $50. Per person a day or Violation of this could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund. [ 2 ] No parties, No loud music, No boisterous behavior. [ 3 ] Renters will respect and follow all rules as outlined in the House Rules Section. [ 4 ] Renters agree to not contact Host until they have read the house Manuel. Will be sent 2 days before arrival. [ 5 ] Smoking is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate $500. fee. { 6 } Unless previously agreed upon Host , there is a $50.late checkout fee for the first hour and a rate of $100./ for each hour thereafter. [ 7 ] If by your Fault of breaking any house rules causes a scheming conflict with other guests, you may be charged the amount owing the discount or refund, per guest. [ 8 ] Repeated infractions of the house rules can result in dispatching of our security team for immediate eviction with no refund, this will result in a $500 Penalty additional to any applicable fees. [ 9 ] Any missing/damaging items guest are responsible to pay the cost. If any windows or doors are left open after the guest leaves there will be a 250$ charge.
