Host great. Hector good. The house was good. A/C really worked great. Location is close to everything in the town. Swimming pool is fantastic. Kitchen is adequate. We had a great time there.

Truly lovely casita with large yard and pool. Private, quiet and wonderful. Responsive and kind host. Senor Hector is a wonderful caretaker, friendly and funny with great local recommendations.

Great vacation house.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The outdoor space is beautiful and spacious. The pool is large and a great temperature. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms are a nice size with lots of storage and beds are reasonably comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the highway but we got used to it and it didn’t bother us. The road the house is on is a bit dark at night. We had packed a small compact flashlight for walking home when dark which was very helpful and works better than cell phone light. Both the host Antonio and Hector who helps look after the house were easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Caretaker was always available for whatever we needed. The house and courtyard we very nice and private. Loved the pool. Owner was also very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place.

Private space and relaxing

The pictures were true to the reality of the house. We enjoyed the pool immensely as we had it to ourselves and it was kept so clean. Having an outside bathroom was a bonus so no water got tracked into the house. I would recommend this location for anyone wanting a similar experience. We were well looked after by Hector who did so much for us to ensure things were just right. There were a few negative points, one that the location was close to the highway and there was a lot of road noise. The second was the fridge was too small and it would have been nice to have a larger one. The location was not well lit up so walking back at night time was scary. Lastly, felt the price was on the high side so unfortunately we won’t be returning. Overall, truly enjoyed ourselves and glad we booked. Thank you.

Beautiful pool, great outdoor entertaining area, very safe environment

Casa Balam is a mostly comfortable self contained house with a beautiful pool and lovely outdoor area. The house is a little isolated. It also fronts onto Highway 200. Sometimes the traffic noise can be a bit distracting. The traffic does slow considerably in the night. The house is about a five minute walk to the main street of Guayabitos, about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen is quite well equipped so that you can prepare meals easily. Outside there is a barbeque and table and chairs. The property is missing loungers for around the pool. But the pool is fantastic! Big and beautiful and comfortable temperature, with some shade. Also outside is an outdoor shower and a full three piece washroom, with shower, toilet and sink. This is the second bathroom of the property. The main house contains the other three piece bathroom. The bedrooms are equipped with double/queen beds, somewhere in between the two sizes. The beds were a little hard. The living dining area had lots of table and chair seating but was lacking a bit on seating for just relaxing with just one couch/day bed. The wifi is great, we never had any problems during our two month stay, December, January 2021-2022. The owner Antonio and his main man Hector are fantastic! They are so responsive and kind and ensured that everything was in order all the time. Their response time was immediate!!!! If you know Guayabitos the house is located almost immediately beside Pina Colada Restaurant. The house is very safe and secure. Overall our stay was very good and we would recommend Casa Balam for short or long term stays!

Our stay at Casa Balam

Casa Balam is a great place to stay, we enjoyed the pool and spent a lot of time outside Estabon is a great guy really enjoyed meeting him and his son Jr. Its a short walk into town, we just called a cab if we were going away. Beds are like all other beds in Rincon, on the firm side. Overall a great place to stay.

Excellent time in Guayabitios

This is the second time that my wife and l have spent a month at Casa Balam. We love the pool and the absolute privacy and it’s only a seven minute walk to the beach. Esteban was extremely helpful as usual.

La casa en cuanto llegue me entregan. Y los 15 minutos me avisan que tengo que desocuparla por ya estaba rentada por otras personas que estaban ya esperandola con un disculpe usted me tube que salir y buscar por mi cuenta hospedaje

Fantastic Stay

This is a great property. The total privacy is amazing. We spent 2 weeks here with our grandson and enjoyed every minute. The outdoor grill was used every day as well as the pool. Esteban was friendly and very helpful if a question came up. The iguana that lives at the house was very friendly at the end, our grandson has named him Mr.Pickles. Will definitely book again.

Casa Balam Vacay

We stayed at Casa Balam for 2 weeks in March. We had a lovely time. The house and pool were well maintained. Esteban was great. If we required anything, he was always there in a moments notice. We enjoyed the pool lots. And the house is only a few blocks from Main Street and the beach. We also enjoyed the house pets. iguanas. They were around everyday just for us to watch. The yard has great landscaping and it feels like your very own oasis. I would recommend this place as your getaway for a vacation.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Balam with a friend that we were showing Mexico for his first trip. We had a great time, enjoyed the pool and outdoor grill. Casa was very well equipped and clean and tidy; good wifi. We would definitely stay here again!

Extremely private property that's close to all amenities. Within easy walking distance to beach.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 month stay at Casa Balam. We appreciated the privacy and the great swimming pool. This property is very close to the stores, shops and restaurants, and within easy walking to the very beautiful beach. Antonio, the owner, saw to our needs for things that needed addressing and made our stay one of our best holidays. We were well taken care of by Esteban, who is the proprietor of the La Pina Colada restaurant next door. He was available if we needed anything, and we have made a very dear friend. We look forward to a return visit.

Clean, Easy walk to town and beaches, Great communication!

My wife and I stayed here for the Christmas holiday with our 2 dogs. Esteban at the Pina Colada restaurant was there to help us from the first day. He speaks great english and he and his family are very friendly and helpful. The yard was great for the dogs, and the pool was perfect to cool off in. The covered patio in back was a great place to relax and enjoy the evenings. The kitchen although small, had everything we needed to make a couple dinners and breakfasts. The shower is adequate and had ample hot water. The house was clean and had plenty of space for us and I'd imagine for 2 more people as well. The only downside to this property would have to be the comfort of the bed and the couch. Other than that, great place and we will try and stay there again when we venture back to Nayarit!

En general todo bien Recåmaras con aire acondicionado muy bien Área de lavado muy bien Cocina muy bien Sala comedor falta un poco de aire La alberca se desperdicia durante el día porque no hay sombra y le falta camastros...utilizamos mås el årea de asador y si requiere ventilador mås potente y mås luz es un årea hermosa. La atención del personal muy amable Y atento. GRACIAS!!!
