Period residence located only 20 km from Florence!

A period residence located in the Florentine Chianti countryside, it enjoys an enchanting view of the Tuscan hills. The villa, whose origins date back to the 14th century, has been completely restored by the current owners respecting the original structure and restoring to its ancient splendor the special decorations and frescoes that characterize the various rooms.

This beautiful property is the ideal place to spend carefree and peaceful holidays in an atmosphere characterized by elegance and sophistication. Florence is only 20 km away from the villa. It will take about 30 minutes by car, or in the nearby town of Rignano Sull'Arno (8 km away) there is a train station with trains to the city center.

ACCOMMODATION: The villa is spread over three floors (450 square meters) and there are 8 double bedrooms and 9 bathrooms for a total of 16 persons:

Ground floor: The garden leads into the entrance hall with a fireplace (not working) and pool table.

First Floor: a staircase leads to the first floor. This floor offers a large, fully equipped kitchen opening onto an outdoor area/terrace perfect for morning breakfasts and your evening dinners. Alternatively, a large dining room organized to accommodate up to 16 people is available. Also there is a large living room with sofas and TV.

On the same floor are 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with showers. Service bathroom and laundry area with washer and dryer.

Second floor: On the top floor there are 6 double bedrooms: five of which have en-suite bathrooms with showers and one with a private outside bathroom with shower.

Notes: high-speed wi-fi internet connection (about 40 MB). On request, for guests who need to work during their stay, a room on the first floor (lockable with door) can be made available for office use equipped with desk, chair and printer.

All 8 bedrooms, have double beds. Upon request, at an additional charge of 20€ per room, they can be arranged with 2 single beds.

In one section of the property lives owner Roberta with her family. They have separate outdoor areas and entrances. They are always available but invisible when not needed.

GARDEN AND SWIMMIN POOL: From the automatic entrance gate you enter the interior of the property with centuries-old plants on two sides of the villa that offer shaded areas to relax reading a book or sipping a glass of wine. The typical Tuscan hillside landscape surrounding the property will be the setting for your stay!

From a large panoramic sun terrace, a staircase leads to a lower level where guests have access to the swimming pool for private and exclusive use (available from May to October. Irregular shape, about 90 square meters and constant depth of 1.5 meters). Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to guests.

Keys/security deposit: €500.00 in cash (will be returned upon departure, provided no damage has been caused by the customer).

Services/Experiences: A trusted chef can be hired to prepare breakfasts, dinners, pizza parties or cooking classes upon request. Other services such as drivers, Chianti wine tour, guided tours of Florence, horseback riding, portrait and family portrait photo shoot can be booked during your stay.
