Doe's Hideaway - rural retreat

A charming little getaway cabin surrounded by nature! Doe's Hideaway is a brand-new build completed in August 2023 with all new furniture and appliances. It offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. Nestled in a serene seeand secluded setting, this fully furnished home provides a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature and create lasting memories. We're off the beaten path, but near Magnolia & the Silos, Baylor, Cameron Park Zoo, ExtraCo Event Center, Downtown Waco, Spice Village, Texas Ranger Museum, and the Dr. Pepper Museum.

Doe's Hideaway features a private bedroom with a King-size bed, French doors opening to the backyard and excellent views of the private pond and surrounding nature. There is a full bath with luxury shower, soaker tub, and separate water closet in the hall near the main bedroom. Additionally, there is a 1/2 bath convenient to all entertaining and sleeping areas. The spacious open-concept living, dining, kitchen area boasts vaulted ceilings and a Queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Guests will have access to the entire private cabin and access to explore all that the surroundings have to offer!

There is one RV hookup for water & electric available for an additional fee, and it is only rented out to cabin occupants. So if you are traveling by RV or bringing extra guests in an RV, they can stay on-site with you. Please send us a private message for details.

We also offer a military discount, and special add-on services like mid-week cleaning for longer stays, a stocked pantry based on your recipe/list, special occasion amenities and on-site mini gift shop. Send us a message for information about any special requests.

A Perfect Stay

Peaceful Getaway

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the place. Doe’s Hideaway is even prettier in person. We enjoyed our mornings on the front and back porch drinking our coffee and reading our bibles. What a perfect way to start the day. Had fun fishing and walking around on property, the Alpaca's were entertaining too. The evening skies were spectacular while hearing all the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back when we visit our daughter at Baylor.

The best honeymoon getaway!

We had the best time here! It was the perfect place to get away from all of the craziness of our regular day-to-day. A serene and secluded area, where we definitely got a lot of fishing in! Just a short drive into town to do something during the hottest parts of the day. We absolutely loved it and hope to be back again!

Our most relaxing stay to date. The house was better than picturest shown. We relaxed on the back porch and by the waters edged most of the time. We had a storm along the coastline that made winds too high to fish most of the time, but still managed to catch a few. I highly recommend this house for a relaxing stay. Owner was sooo easy to deal with too. We even purchased one of the pieces of art while there.

Serene Escape

This is a hidden gem for sure! We sadly had to leave early for a sick kiddo but the place was great. Very clean, rejuvenating to sit on the back porch. Can drink coffee in bed with the electric fireplace on while looking out at the pond and trees. Also very kid friendly if you choose to go that route. It’s only a short drive I’m to Waco so you have the peacefulness of the country and quick access to the city. It has a queen bed but I do think a king would fit nicely in the bedroom. We would absolutely stay here again.
