As you step inside from the front door entryway, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting living room, complete with plush sofas, including a pullout queen size sofa bed, dedicated workspace and a large flat-screen Roku TV for your entertainment needs.
The stunning kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you need to whip up a delicious meal, including a kitchen island cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, trash compactor and dishwasher.
There is also a dining area adjacent to the kitchen with a table that seats six, with additional seating options, perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. The dining area contains glass doors for access to the large second level deck.
Down the hallway, off the kitchen, youâll find spacious and comfortable bedrooms with plush beds and soft linens to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The primary master bedroom features a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a stand up shower, while the other two bedrooms contain a queen in one and two singles in the other and share the full bathroom with a shower and tub combination located in the hallway.
Circle back to the foyer and youâll find the stairway leading down to the basement level. This funky and fun living space boasts ample and comfy seating with a large flat-screen Roku TV. Calling all billiards enthusiasts! This space is complete with a pool table; pool balls and cue sticks provided.
This lower level contains the fourth bedroom with a queen bed and another Roku TV, as well as a third full bathroom with a shower and tub combination in the hallway. Access is also gained directly to the basement from the driveway through the garage doors.
Outside, you'll find a lovely yard with tons of trees and outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. There is also a charcoal grill available for your use if you want to enjoy a barbecue cookout. The only shared space between this house and the secondary home on the property is a brick patio with a couple hammocks for the ultimate relaxation. Enjoy an outdoor dinner on the picnic table while you watch (or play!) a game of cornhole.

***Getting to our home: ***
The house is located at the end of a historic mid-century gravel road, originally used before the surrounding subdivisions were built and preserved today to offer maximum privacy and seclusion. You will cross a small private bridge that connects the neighborhood to this quiet road. Take it slow and you will find our home.
At the end of the neighborhood, as you continue onto the wooded road, please drive slowly and carefully cross the small concrete bridge onto the gravel roadway. The home is tucked away in a secluded, rural area â perfect for privacy, but it requires a bit of extra caution.
Please note:
The backroads can be narrow and uneven in places, especially after rain.
There may be low-hanging branches and occasional muddy patches â especially during heavy downpours when the nearby creek can rise.
Motorcycles and low-clearance vehicles are not recommended for this drive.
Oversized vehicles may find it difficult to navigate the small concrete bridge that crosses the creek.
In inclement weather, all-wheel or four-wheel drive is highly recommended.

The entirety of the home is accessible to guests with the exception of a hospitality closet located in the hallway next to the kitchen and in the basement to the right of the bathroom. There is one other guest house located on the property; the only shared space between these two properties is the brick patio with the picnic table and hammocks.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, the home is just a short drive away from downtown Richmond. Our home is conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants, shopping centers, and local attractions. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or explore the local attractions, there is something for everyone in the area surrounding our home in Richmond, Virginia. The property is also conveniently located near major highways, making it easy to get around the city. We are confident that you will have a wonderful stay at our home and look forward to hosting you soon!
There is ample, free parking available in the driveway in front of the garage and/or parking available for up to two cars within the residential garage. There's also a singular parking space parallel to the sidewalk leading to the front door. Parking is available for up to five vehicles, depending on their size.
It is of significance to acknowledge that your current location situates you within a rural environment. Consequently, it is anticipated that the prevalence of insects will surpass what you may typically encounter. Furthermore, there exists the potential for encounters with bears, raccoons, venomous as well as non-venomous snakes, and various other forms of wildlife that might deviate from your accustomed encounters.
-----A NOTE ON PROPERTY ACCESSABILITY:
To access the property, there are approximately 3â5 steps at the front entryway. Once inside, you'll be on the second floor, where you'll find the main living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms.
Alternatively, the basement can be accessed either from the upstairs level or through the garage. If entering through the garage, there are no stairs to navigate. Guests can park directly outside the garage, and someone inside the home can unlock the door by entering through the front door, going downstairs to the garage level, and opening it from the inside.
The basement features one bedroom, one full bathroom, and a second living area.
Please note that there is a full flight of stairs between the basement and the upstairs level, both when ascending and descending.
Ample free parking is available in the driveway in front of the garage, and the garage itself can accommodate up to two vehicles. Additionally, there is a single parallel parking space located along the sidewalk leading to the front door.
From the garage parking area, itâs approximately 125 feet to the front door. From the parallel parking space along the sidewalk, the distance is roughly 65 feet.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please read and understand the cancellation policy prior to booking. This policy is firm, and we will be upheld in the event of a cancellation. We recommend purchasing travel insurance if you have concerns that you may need to cancel your reservation for any reason.

PET POLICY: We only allow up to two dogs for a $50 pet fee per stay; no cats or other animals. This is non-negotiable.
!****For your awareness, exterior security camera(s) are in place and actively record the property's exterior, public-facing areas at all timesâincluding during reservations. Please note that there are no cameras located inside the home or in any private areas.****!
We are pet friendly. However, we only accept up to two dogs for a $50.00 pet fee. Unauthorized pets on the property will result in a $100 fee.
No smoking indoors. $250 fee will be charged to guest after departure if evidence of smoking cigarettes or marijuana indoors is detected.
Any and all acts by guest(s) and/or its invitees, that result in damages to the property or its contents, whether such act was intentional or the result of negligence will allow the host and or owner to deduct from the security deposit any and all cost incurred or to be incurred in returning the property or its contents to its original state and/or replace the item(s) as needed.
