The Space:

This apartment is on the 1st floor. Enjoy the front porch just outside your door.

The space is very spacious and cozy. It fully furnished and comfortably hosts up to 3 people.

***Bedroom: It has a very comfortable queen size bed, dresser, dedicated working desk.

***Living space: 55 inches TV with HULU and Disney+, comfortable couch which easily converts to a queen-size bed.

***Bathroom: spacious walk- in shower with provided shampoo and body wash, hair dryer.

***Kitchen: well stocked kitchen. Electrical stove, toaster and refrigerator. We provide pots and pans, silverware, etc.

***Coffee bar: K-cup coffee maker with roasted coffee creamer and sugar.

***Internet: High speed WI-FI internet.

***We have also provided a fan and a heater for comfort.

***Parking situation: large parking lot behind the house accessed via alleyway. There is also free street parking as well.

You'll have a private entrance to this apartment. Guests have access to shared spaces including the front porch and the laundry room located in the basement.

Enjoy the charming atmosphere of our neighborhood, with its tree-lined streets and friendly locals, making your stay truly memorable.



Getting Around:

Getting around from our cozy studio is a breeze! You'll find easy access to public transportation options, with bus stops located a short walk from the property. For those arriving by car, we offer free parking in a large lot behind the house, accessed via the alleyway, and also free street parking. Richmond International Airport (RIC) is approximately a 20-minute drive away. Major transit hubs are also within easy reach, allowing you to explore all that Richmond has to offer. This prime location ensures convenient access to the city's attractions and beyond.

Please be aware that we do not accept bookings from local guests, guests with past negative reviews, or new accounts.

Check-in is at 4 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM.

We welcome dogs, but we do not allow cats.

Free parking is available both on the premises and on the street. Kindly respect quiet hours, especially between 9 PM and 8 AM.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. Guests are welcome to smoke on the front porch and should use the ashtray provided for waste disposal.

The apartment has a central AC/heating system.

The thermostat is in a separate room, and we can remotely adjust the temperature for you; just send us a message. Additional comfort items like a space heater and fan are available in the closet.

The trash bin is located behind the backyard.

Great little spot! Cute condo in a fantastic neighborhood. Host was outstanding and communicative, easy check in/out, very clean and well equipped. Location was amazing, walking distance to VMFA, science museum, restaurants and coffee shops, Whole Foods. We took uber from the airport for a 3 night stay and walked EVERYWHERE, didn’t need a car. It’s a great part of Richmond. Sunday Brunch at Savory Grains was outstanding! (But make a reservation). First time to RVA, loved the city and this VRBO, we’ll be back no doubt and I know where we’ll stay.

Great location for short stay

This property was a super location for our event at the Virginia Wine Expo.... walkable in fact... that was the best! It is a cozy little apartment #1, nicely appointed, not much natural light due to the design, but plenty of lamps.... it says that it can sleep 4.... that would be only if 2 of the occupants were kids... the pocket doors appear to be painted in place and do not separate the rooms, so with 4 privacy would be a consideration. Nice comfy bed however in the main bedroom area, (a small stool to help a short person easily get into the high bed would be fabulous) and plenty of parking both in front or in their lot. We would certainly stay again if we needed to be in the area.

Beautiful Rental, Unsafe Stay

This property is beautiful, clean, cozy, has everything you need for a pleasant stay, and is located in the most convenient area within walking distance of great food and cool shopping areas. The host was amazing at quickly answering my questions and helping me get settled in and took great care to make the stay as convenient as possible. However, on my last night staying there, at about 11:30pm, even with a super bright porch light on, someone tried breaking into my Vrbo via the keypad. They tried multiple times to get into my private entrance using wrong codes then tried to shake the door handle open, so aggressively that it woke me up from a dead sleep. I had to call the police to search the property to be sure the would be intruder was finally gone. The police officer arrived within minutes and suggested I tell the host what happened. I sent a message to notify the host after the officer left and I did not receive a response, but I did get a new message after I checked out to please leave a review (which I realize is standard!) This could be a Vrbo issue that kept the host from seeing my message on my last night there because she was so responsive and patient at check in, but I did feel uneasy to have not been given a response. I attempted to email my concerns to the host again and our message inbox had been closed (another Vrbo app hassle). In short: beautiful Vrbo, just take extra precautions if you’re staying alone!
