This house is really lovely and in a great location: very central to restaurants, bars and the local One Stop Shop. The beach is about a 3 minute walk away. The house has everything you could need for your stay (just take your own shower gel and shampoo). The kitchen is very well equipped and the dining area can comfortably seat 8 people. A welcome pack was provided which included crisps, chilli jam, biscuits, teabags, sachets of milk, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and 3 toilet rolls. We only stayed for three nights, so this pack was a lovely gesture. There is a fully enclose rear yard for anyone with a dog or small children, with outdoor furniture to seat 8. The towels are of a very good quality, thick and fluffy! The bed we slept in was very comfortable with feather duvet and pillows and lovely clean white bed linen. There is a cabinet in the dining area which is full of book and games for children and adults, and also some cute wooden toys. There is a gate at the bottom of the stairs for small kids and dogs, although the whole property is dog-friendly. The staircase is fairly steep as itâs a Victorian property, but there is a small downstairs loo so you donât need to make unnecessary trips upstairs.We can definitely recommend The Oyster Catcher for food, which is just a 10-15 minute walk away. We also ate at Sunny Mount House which is literally opposite the property : while the food was quite nice it was expensive for what you get (22 for fish and chips).
