This charming spacious modern mews cottage is tucked away in the heart of the quintessential seaside town of Southwold, just a short walk from the sandy beach, iconic pier and beach hut lined promenade. Sleeping up to four guests, plus your four-legged friend, it is the ideal hideaway for a seaside holiday or short break with family and friends with the added luxury of a private parking space and an enclosed rear garden.

After parking in the private space, adjacent to the cottage, walk up to the secure front garden and let yourselves into the gorgeous retreat to find yourselves in the contemporary, airy, open-plan living space with lounge/kitchen/diner.
The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, free standing fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. There is a table, and chairs should you wish to dine in. The lounge has a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a Smart TV. Doors lead out to the secure, enclosed decked courtyard garden.

A s you walk in, on the left hand side there is a downstairs cloakroom with a WC, hand basin and radiator.

Upstairs are two well-proportioned bright and airy bedrooms along with a family bathroom.

Bedroom 1 has a 4ft6 double bed, two bedside tables and a dressing table and chair. There is some built-in shelving for your clothes

Bedroom 2 has twin beds (3ft6), two bedside tables and a large storage cupboard with hanging space as well as shelving

The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over, WC, hand basin and radiator. Mirrored window looks out to the front of the cottage

Outside, at the rear, there a private decked courtyard with garden furniture should you wish to dine al fresco on those summer evenings, or just relax with a glass of your favourite tipple and soak up the sun

East Mews Cottage is tucked away in a peaceful spot in the heart of Southwold and just a few steps from the famous Adams shop and café in Tibby’s Triangle with the bustling high street on the other side of the triangle. There is also a park and playground around the corner to keep the kids entertained, and a fish and chip shop, which is a must have when by the seaside.
