This property has pros and cons. The good - amazing location (couldnât be better), decent bathroom albeit downstairs, excellent shower, reasonably equipped kitchen, very comfortable double bed, bottle wine/crisps on arrival, some outside space, helpful parking pass. For improvement - really poor decor (photos do not show whole property needs redecoration âŠnot just a few scratches) ⊠from the frontdoor (and the meter cupboard with the door hanging off) âŠ. itâs poor. Thereâs no point curating nice little bits and pieces if the basics arenât right. No wardrobe in main room ⊠just hangers over a chest of drawers (so you canât hang anything??). Wardrobe in other room you canât open and close (no key/handle). Taps poorly fitted. Soft furnishings have stains/rips and sofa in kitchen is not great. Stairs are really steep ⊠canât be helped in an old cottage ⊠but this needs to be clear as those with mobility will struggle (particularly with a downstairs bathroom). This is an inherited family propertyâŠ. clearly loved and full of nostalgia for the family âŠ. which this why this is hard to write âŠ.. but as a quality rental in this fabulous location ⊠it needs to be better âŠ. it could be magnificent.
