Romantic Hobbit Hole and Second Breakfast

Inspired by Bag End, the home of Bilbo and Frodo, this hobbit hole will captivate your imagination! From the time you enter the round doors until you leave (still full from second breakfast), you will be cradled in luxury: plush chairs by the fire, soft bathrobes, fine linens on the king-sized sleigh bed, a stocked refrigerator and snack basket, massive shower and beautiful furnishings. Our famous second breakfast will be delivered to your room each day of your stay.
Your hobbit hole isa short walk from the parking area near our family's home. It's close enough to deliver second breakfast hot to your room, but far enough to enjoy your privacy. They sit on top of a hill with a broad view of the oak trees and open pasture below.

Our property is on a private road, close to highway 299, but far enough away to eliminate almost all noise. Low light pollution means great opportunities for stargazing. You'll hear birds all day and the occasional coyote pack in the distance at night, but that's about all!Guests are welcome to wander the 40-acre property, keeping a respectful distance from our home and the other guest rooms.You'll need a vehicle to get to our place, run into town for dinner or get around to all of the amazing natural attractions in our area. With our beautiful country setting comes a lack of dining and shopping options without making the 15-minute trip into Redding. We recommend picking up dinner and/or your favorite beverages and snacks in town before you arrive so you can enjoy the room for the evening without additional interruption. We also offer fabulous "Shire-cuterie" boards as an in-room dinner option.
