Overall we had a very pleasant experience. The location is wonderful. It's just a little ways out of town, which made it peaceful and quiet, and the views were absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying again.There were a couple of things worth mentioning for future guests and the owners. The house is smaller than what we anticipated but luckily we are a close family and really didn't have any problems. Masterbath is really small. This might be an issue for a larger heavy set person. The bathroom /laundry room had a noticeable sewer smell during our stay, with much of the odor seeming to come from the front-loading washing machine. It would likely benefit from a very deep cleaning or replacement.Another challenge was the cleaning equipment provided. Since we stayed for an extended period, regular upkeep like vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning bathrooms was necessary. Unfortunately, the vacuum had very little suction and required going over the same areas repeatedly, the dustpan didnât work well, and there were very limited cleaning supplies available. We ended up purchasing our own supplies, which made things easier. Despite these issues, we truly loved the homeâs setting and overall comfort. With a few improvements to the laundry area and cleaning tools, this would be an excellent place to stay. We would rent this home again but next time bringing our own vacuum(roomba)and cleaning tools to make day-to-day upkeep easier.
