Secluded luxury cottage getaway situated in the woods but close to unique experiences at Cripple Creek Retreat. Stay in the professionally designed home and enjoy the quiet and seclusion, make s'mores or cook dinner around the fire pit or take a nap in the hammock. We are located minutes away from downtown Murfreesboro and 45 minutes away from downtown Nashville! Great local restaurants and live music/outdoor concerts at Hop Springs or brunch at Readyville Mill or antique nearby.
The space
Spacious and airy 550 square feet- King bed with luxury bedding. Cook s'mores on the fire pit, lay around in the hammock. Watch the resident deer and turkeys pass by and listen to the birds or just hear the wind rattle through the leaves overhead. If you just want to hibernate indoors warm and cozy and watch a movie we have You Tube TV and a smart tv if you'd like to log into any of your steaming accounts and binge something from your watchlist . Bar area stocked with all the tools and glassware you need to whip of a cocktail or enjoy a glass of wine while you watch nature just outside. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate supplied as well as all the herbs, oils and spices to whip up a meal on the two burner induction cooktop or bake something in the toaster oven. Coffeemaker, dish ware, pots and pans included. Indoor pebble floor shower with rain shower head and private outdoor shower off the bathroom (open when temps are above freezing spring to fall). Desk area inside for those times when you need to work. Puzzle, games, playing cards, magazines and books if you'd rather enjoy an activity unplugged. Usb plugs on each bedside table as well as reading lights. Lounge on the couch and watch tv or stay in bed and enjoy your favorite movie or show. Something to offer every season: when the weather is gray and gloomy, it's warm and cozy inside and you can still enjoy the firepit and string lights and enjoy the peace and quiet and look at the stars and watch our resident deer. Springtime brings trees flowering and leaves appearing and birds chirping, warmer temps that make lingering outside pleasant. Summer brings warm temps and lots of places nearby to enjoy hiking, waterfalls etc- bring your bikes and ride along one of the best bike routes in the area right that goes right through our road- quiet rides on backroads make for an enjoyable pass time. Fall sees changing leaves, cooler temps. Be sure to check out Hop Springs schedule just down the road. They host outdoor concerts and live music as well as events like fireworks on July 4th! Take in a concert, try their craft beers or enjoy an event and be back to your room within minutes. Hop Springs and Readyville Mill very close by as well as lots of local restaurants in downtown Murfreesboro. Just see our guidebook for recommendations. A note about cleaning:
Floors and showers are steam sanitized and all hard surfaces are disinfected. Soft surfaces are sprayed as well. Mattress has two antimicrobial covers and pillows are covered in antimicrobial covers, sheets are antimicrobial and all sheets and towels are sanitized and bleached when washed between guests. We are the perfect place to relax and be socially distant and safe.

Other things to note
You are staying in a rural area where people hunt so you may occasionally hear shooting from time to time. You are totally safe but we just want to give a heads up on the rare occasion it happens. People in the area also a chicken coop so you may occasionally hear chickens clucking or a rooster crowing and may hear dogs barking from time to time. These are all sounds you hear when you are outside but the inside of our cottage is very quiet, well insulated and cozy.
