Arorangi Retreat - Excellent rapport qualité / prix

Outre une vie de couchers de soleil, le cÎté ouest de Rarotonga possÚde une magnifique plage et un lagon appelé Aroa.

Arorangi Retreat est Ă  30 mĂštres sur un petit chemin de son rĂȘve tropical.

Une maison de trois chambres récemment achevée, Arorangi Retreat est idéale pour une famille de 6 personnes et offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix. De la grande entrée de la véranda à la maison se fait par des portes coulissantes vers le salon principal et la salle à manger et de là vers les trois chambres. Toutes les chambres ont des ventilateurs de plafond.

A cÎté de la maison se trouve l'Aroa Beachside Inn qui propose tous les jours de superbes barbecues au coucher du soleil dans leur cabane de naufrage (élu l'un des meilleurs bars du Pacifique sur la plage sur Trip Advisor). Et dans l'autre sens, la plongée avec tuba et la location d'Internet sont à quelques pas. Le Rarotongan Resort est également à proximité (moins de 15 minutes à pied le long de la plage).

Mais la vĂ©ritable attraction de Arorangi Retreat est la plage. Bien que la maison ne soit pas en bord de mer, elle est extrĂȘmement proche et le sable est blanc, le lagon bleu azur. Son idĂ©al pour la plongĂ©e en apnĂ©e et avoir un froid dans l'eau Ă  tout moment de la journĂ©e.

La retraite Arorangi offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix aux grandes familles à la recherche de temps plus chauds et est proposée pour rester occupée tout au long de l'année.

La maison pourra accueillir confortablement 6 personnes.

Very easy to communicate with the host, very clean and the house was awesome for the 5 of us. Had everything we needed and the flyscreens made it nice to not get the mossies in.

Arorangi Retreat

Short 8 day break in Raro to recharge batteries / chill for awhile . Good location . easy access. Facilities available for cooking etc. Only downside was the bar next door which played live music and you can hear it quite plainly until they finish each night. Good music however not conducive to sleeping until their finished.

Great property. Close to the beach for beautiful sunsets. Comfy beds (bring a lamp if you read at night). Will totally book again. For those missing the path to the beach follow the fence line on the Aro'a side of the property! Enjoy!

Everything but the beach

Great little property but couldn’t find the beach access. The reviews raved about the accessibility of the beach, but when we headed down there all we could see were private property signs. Ended up walking through the hotel next store and getting a dirty look from the bar staff. There were no instructions either in the property compendium so that was a big miss. Finding the place was hard too, there’s no sign. Calls to property manager went unanswered. The neighbour behind was no help, he told us that the property wasn’t a rental and was owned by someone else. He directed us to keep moving on down the road. Luckily I was persistent and took a gamble, looking under the mat for the key. If you don’t mind ALL that, it’s a good little place.

Comfortable house

Tidy house with everything you might need. Noisy road for a small island. Beach lovely to look at but spoilt by the large amount of broken glass. We picked up at least a kilos or so after each tide. Very sad for such a lovely place.

Clean, tidy and well equipped

Great location, clean and tidy, very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Some road noise but so if you are sensitive bring ear plugs. Child friendly. A great property all round.

Absolutely loved staying here, perfect location - Great snorkeling spot, you may even spot the big eel in the coral just a little walk down the path and basically a private beach! Located right next to the Shipwreck which is a lovely wee bar on the beach you can watch the sunset and have a cocktail! Highly recommend this house for people staying with Children also!

Arorangi Retreat is a fantastic place to stay at a very reasonable price. It's very close to a beautiful beach which was fantastic for snorkelling. Although the house doesn't face the beach the view to the bush and hills is beautiful,. The house was well maintained with a nice garden and everything we needed and was walking distance to a cool little bar called The Shipwreck Hut, a shop, cafe and hire shop. Would love to come and stay again.

Arorangi Retreat was the perfect location for us attending a wedding a few doors along the beach at Ra Mura. It had access to a beautiful part of the lagoon, with a bar right next door! The property is well equipped, however the fans were unfortunately insufficient to combat the heat! All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend to others :)

Awesome location.

Awesome location. It was our third visit to Raro. First time to stay in house always stay in resorts. The lack of air con was abit of an issue but soon adjusted after the third day. Good size house for 5 adults. Outside shower was well used by the boys. Would defiantly used this property again for a family holiday.

Awesome! Arorangi Retreat has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is fantastic with beach and some pretty impressive snorkelling literally a stones throw away. The house is well equipped, easy to access and close to nearby hire store, cafe, bar and convenience store. Will definitely be returning.

Location & set up of property suited us perfectly.

Location & set up of property suited us perfectly. Grandparents 2x grandchildren & their parents. Clean & tidy when we arrived. Chosen for handy location to Ra Mura for wedding we went to. 1 min walk to best beach on Raro, west side & sunsets are our favourites. Next door to Shipwreck bar for adults, dairy /convenience store short walk, bus stop outside, New cafe Beluga fab & a short walk. The gardeners turned up with a smile to clean up grounds after strong winds!!! Nice!

We absolutely loved our stay at Arorangi Retreat. It had everything we needed, was the perfect size for us and was so close to the beach! The beach outside the house had amazing snorkelling! We would definitely stay again.

The location to the beach was awesome (30m).

The location to the beach was awesome (30m). The only things missing we felt was a few of the windows didn't have curtains, some duvets for each of the beds (there was only one - though mostly not needed in the heat), no mop and an indoor clothes horse to dry clothes on wet days. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thanks Eddie and to the owners who left us fresh fruit and delivered us fresh coconuts!

House was just what we needed in terms of size and close locality to the beach.

House was just what we needed in terms of size and close locality to the beach. Would have like a little more privacy from the road, it was hard to tell from the photos online that the house faced the road and was quite open. House was clean and well appointed. Oki (the property owner) dropped in a few times with a lovely fruit delivery, and helped us harvest drinking coconuts and breadfruit from trees on the property. Overall an enjoyable stay.

As always a very relaxing stay at this beachfront property.

As always a very relaxing stay at this beachfront property. This has been our third stay at this property. Nice to have some work done on the inside - new shower room, new dishwasher and working barbecue. Also security stays on the windows for that added insurance. Highly recommended as very affordable, comfortable and has all you need. Many thanks to Lotu and Sue who are as always very helpful with any queries.
