Cozy Green Key awarded holiday house near the sea in Saaremaa island
The KĂ€rbi summer house is on the south coast of Saaremaa Island, just 500 metres from the sea and bordering a picturesque pine forest, where you can watch the crows fly.
The sauna house measures 30mÂČ and provides a leisure room with a sofa bed and a washing machine, as well as a wood-stove sauna and a shower.
The summer house complex consists of a main house and a separate sauna house. The main house measuring 58mÂČ is on two floors. The ground floor comprises a living room with a fireplace, an open kitchen and a bathroom. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first is furnished with a double bed and the second with two single beds and five additional mattresses.
The KÔiguste harbour, where you can swim and go fishing, has stony ground and is just a kilometre away. On the other side of the island there is the picturesque old fishing village Ruhve. You can go fishing and birdwatching nearby. It is 38km to the historical town Kuressaare and 40km to the ferry harbour at Kuivastu. It is 3 or 5km to the nearest bus stops and 5km to the nearest grocery shop in Laimjala. On Saaremaa there are some places of interest, such as medieval churches, castles, beautiful sandy beaches, windmills, old villages with stone walls and houses with thatched roofs, all within a 1 to 2-hour drive. The house is easy to get to by car, as a good grave road leads directly to the house.
A balcony invites you to relax and affords views towards the lake. You can light an open fire in the garden for grilling or smoking. When it is raining, a gazebo provides shelter, so you can still enjoy nature.
