Overlooking the only Royal Harbour in the UK, Harbourview sits on the Westcliff of Ramsgate and is perfectly placed for anyone looking for a seaside getaway. Just a stone’s throw away from some of Ramsgate’s finest eateries, Harbourview is ideal if you want to explore as well as relax.
The construction of the harbour began in 1749 and was completed in around 1850-rich in history and a favourite holiday destination of Queen Victoria in her childhood.

Harbourview has a keypad entry system. Guests will be issued with their own unique code before arrival along with instructions as to how to operate the keypad entry system.
Old buildings have their quirks and ours is no exception. The house has a lot of stairs which will keep you fit. We would not recommend this property for anyone who would struggle with stairs or who requires wheelchair access. It is also worth noting that due to the age of the building, some floors are uneven.

Harbourview offers the perfect stay for anyone looking for a seaside break whether it be with family, friends or somewhere to stay whilst working in the local area.
It’s also ideally located if you want to visit any of Ramsgate’s many amazing bars and harbour side eateries.

The space

The property boasts two luxurious double Bedrooms, both of which offer picturesque sea views, a luxury family Bathroom with both a bath and shower and a heated towel rail, a fully equipped open plan Kitchen/Diner and a comfy and stylish Living Room beautifully furnished with a double sofa bed. There is also a separate WC located on the first floor.

All bedrooms have Smart TV’s which hosts Freeview and Netflix.
The property also has free access to a super-fast Wi-Fi connection so ideal if you are looking for a space to work.


The Kitchen/Diner and Living room is located on the 1st floor of the house and has everything you need for your stay. There is an induction hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and coffee machine which is all free to use for our guests. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for a self-catering stay.
The Dining table can be extended for larger parties and seats 6.

The Living Room offers stunning views of the harbour and on a clear day you can even spot France. Here you will find a large 55” TV with Freeview and Netflix for you to enjoy (if you can peel yourself away from the views!)
The sofa in the Living room can sleep two people as it converts into a double sofa bed.

The second floor is home to the two bedrooms and Bathroom.
The first double bedroom homes a Kingsize bed which can be set as two single beds if required (if you would like two singles, please request upon booking as the default set up is double.) There is also a desk/dressing table which ideal for anyone looking for laptop space.

Bedroom number two has a double bed along with a desk/dressing table.

The main bathroom is also located on the second floor and has both a shower and a bath, toilet, heated towel rail, shaver socket and large bathroom mirror with integrated light.

Local bars and restaurants are pretty much on the doorstep.

It's easy to catch a bus which can take you to neighbouring towns-this is located just on the Harbour.

Ramsgate train station is within close proximity as well as local bus routes into surrounding towns such as Margate and Broadstairs. The bus stop is located on the Harbour and is a 3-minute walk from the house.
Driving around Ramsgate and surrounding towns is also very easy.
There are also some great Coastal walks for those who are interested.
Ramsgate train station = 1.3 miles/7 minutes by car/taxi
Broadstairs-7 minutes by car/42 minutes walk (a lovely walk along the cliff tops and through King George V Park)
Margate Beach-16 mins by car/taxi
Ramsgate Tunnels- 6-minute walk
The Grange-16 minute walk

The Property does not have a parking space. We would recommend parking in the nearby car park to unload any baggage and then driving close by to find a longer stay parking spot. We will advise on this upon booking.

Ramsgate provides a perfect location to explore the surrounding area. In addition to Ramsgate and its Royal Harbour and sandy beaches the other areas of the Kent Riviera are easily accessible. Broadstairs and Margate are 10 minutes by car and the historic town of Canterbury is just 30 minutes away.

This property does not have parking facilities however there are plenty of pay and display car parks.
